For those who live in Japan or have travelled there, I have two questions...

- 1/ What's the maximum speed limit on expressways and how controls are made by the police?

- 2/ If we consider they drive on the other side of the road, are people stay jammed "cruisin" on the right lane (the passing lane) for no reason?

I drive for a livin' every day for work and I'm just fed up when most of North Americans drive slowly on the left lane and don't move their fat asses when someone behind is behind

@LondonUnderground186 100km/hr limit on all expressways, there are speed cameras, marked+ unmarked police cars ( typically V8 Toyota Crowns but I've seen NSX Hondas and even Skyline GT-R's ) People don't "jam up" so much and most drivers are very courteous

Can speed late at night out of town, for eg. if you are driving North out of Tokyo to ski country you can put pedal to the metal and do 150/160km/hr once you're outside city limits

@Hardbass11 USA is so in total decline that they don't have any single penny to maintain their roads properly. I drove often in California and always amazed to realize this was one of the richest state of the US and with such crappy roads. Even Louisiana which is far to be the richest has better roads, modern weigh stations! I never been to Japan but as far as I have heard and seen, all looks neat, clean, and people are not as selfish and with a high ego as North Americans
