  • This is an absolutely terrific rendering of The High Wire theme! Wonderful interpretation by Mr. Antonio. I think Mr. Astley & Mr. McGoohan would have approved. Bravo!! Thanks for posting!

  • This is great. I like this version even a bit more than the original theme.

  • Awesome! Love this!

  • Nice transfer of the hunted feeling over to the acoustic guitar. Didn't fall for any cosy rhythm. If you had been around ITC at the time, they would have used your version for Drake's mission in Madrid.

    (Studio Lot 2 actually.)

  • Lovely well done mate.!!!!!!

  • Excellent. Thank you.

  • @estiloflamenco, You know how North by northwest theme is a tarantella? what kind of song is this(danger man theme) By thye way, you should try north by Northwest and other Herrmann music. dangerman is a great song but your playing and arrangements are brilliant!

  • BRAVISIMO!!!!!

  • Holy Cow...AWESOME!

  • Love the original, sure, but this is very pretty and really puts you into a foreign atmosphere, full with spy intrigues. Could have come from an actual episode!

  • this is really good

now let's see your other performances...

  • HOLEEEEE!...... Beautiful!

  • Fabulous version! I loved tghe original but this one is even better - it's retro and modern at the same time. God knows what the guitarist was doing at 1.16 but his fingers must have been smoking. A breathlessly exciting cover!

I'd love to hear what Mr. Antonioni could do with Ron Grainer's themes to 'The Prisoner' and to 'Miss Marple' and to John Barry's theme for 'The Persuaders'.

  • Same here.

  • This has to be one of the coolest TV themes ever written. I love it on the guitar, nice job and those are pictures that I havent seen of Patrick before. RIP Patrick==the king of the 60s spies. I downloaded this to my I Pod Touch.

  • Now this is wonderful ! We should get together for a harpsichord / guitar version of this piece !

  • Lovely and subtle variation on the orchestral original.

  • Thanks for your comment BScar23625.

  • And what a tune - v. interested to see that minored the first chord - would never imagine that would work so well.

  • Thanks for your comments ArtpopFilms. If you mean the first 'sweep' chord it's a power chord - thumb through strings but index finger playing top string in other direction to get it nice and sharp. Yes it's a great tune, I'd love one day to come up with a tune so catchy.

  • Excellent, excellent version - exhilarating and tremedously exciting - running out of Es here...
