  • people build off thier idiols, and nothings wrong with that

  • Man, remember when bands used Myspace? I found this band via myspace like four years ago...this song brings me back! But it still bugs me that the folk instruments don't sound real...they sound like they are MIDI's or something...

  • Everybody's gonna get drunk tonight! Check out our brand of punk rock!!

  • skag365 clearly you are not flogging molly's biggest fan, nor do you know anything about music or you would be able to tell that the intro riff and the rhythm line of the song throughout is exactly the same as Flogging Molly's Swagger.

  • Shutup abut Flogging Molly. I LOVE Flogging Molly, but this band is super good too. Gosh, it is like going to watch Ice Ice Baby and hearing everything on how he ripped off Bowie and Queen. I could care less! Good music is good music!

  • i hate this with a passion you fuckers totally ripped this off my personal favorite band flogging molly.. you guys neeed to go die in a fucking ditch because you are so unoriginal and just flat out stupid.. you guys will never compare to Flogging Molly ever.. anyone who likes this song needs to listen to flogging molly swagger and you will realize what i am saying... gad damnit

  • @jakegilles Are flogging molly irish???

  • @sctt44 yeah dude look up the song swagge i think it is by flogging molly

  • @sctt44 yeah dude look up the song swagger i think it is by flogging molly

  • bloody irish boys sound bloody american.....DISLIKE

  • @hughisbetterthanyou go kick rocks bud, stuck up european cunt

  • Cheers from The PUB!!!

  • nine people were drunk so they accidently pressed the dislike button!!!

  • I live in Oregon, and I swear there is maybe less than a dozen people were who know of this ******* band.. They kick so much ass... Best around... Where are they from?

  • What's with all Flogging Molly comment? I'm an Irishman and the biggest Flogging fan I know and as best as I can tell these guys didn't steal anything. If someone could maybe point out exactly which song you think this is taken from please share but I'm reasonably sure you're just being stupid.

  • @skag365 well the tune is pretty much exactly the same as swagger. and the first like 'take me back to the open road, where it leads ill never know ' is pretty much 'Terrified of the open road

Yeah, where it leads ya never know' from rebels of the sacred heart .. done

  • what a crappy song, and not to mension the fact that they stole a lot from flogging molly

  • the few irish that put the beer down long enough to learn an instrument, learn it well.

  • wow..what the heck happened to these guys.

  • "A drinking group with a music problem"

  • aha this band is like the irish drinking version of kid cudi

  • @LIAMpants How does that make sense??

  • I ADORE this song, I've had great times with it haha.

  • Such a great drunk -song!

  • i still love it !!!!!

  • Is the starting from song Drunken lullabies from Flogging Molly or am i deaf? I love all celtic punk. Blood Or Whiskey is the best one ;p

  • @paskahanska Not only that, but also, the intro lyrics are actually somewhat inspired by "Screaming at the wailing wall" by Flogging Molly.

  • @zyldyks Alright =)

  • @paskahanska Sorry, if it was "May the living be dead (In our wake)", I don't remember. :P Anyways, it's nevertheless a great song!

  • @zyldyks This song for the first bit is almost a complete rip from Flogging Molly... but they say that copying is the greatest form of flattery and if you are going to copy a band for a little bit... Flogging Molly is a very good choice.

  • @Gregolian I agree, Flogging Molly, according to me, lacks any bad songs. The only song by Flogging Molly I dislike is "Another Bag of Bricks", and even that one isn't half bad!

Anyways, I really enjoy the song, and I will see if I can downlo... BUY! One of their CD:s.

  • I'm a huge Flogging Molly fan, and only just heard of these guys today, is it possible, though that the similair riffs to Swagger and opening line to Rebels of the Sacred heart, is a tribute to them?

  • The Bloody Irish Boys definitely holds a lot of inspiration from Flogging Molly. As someone mentioned, the first line is practically pulled right out of a F-Mollys song. Awesome anyhow. The world needs more irishpunk-pub bands.

  • amen!

  • @toofymoose in my eyes the world has more than enough irish punk bands. lots of them are just showboaters and as irish as my worn out socks, as well as their sound.

  • I love these guys!

  • Hell yeah, i met these guys at a party a few years ago! F-en cool dudes!

  • Coll song YeaHHH

    5.0

  • heyooooo lets get drunk!!!!!!

  • i love it ! thanks guy's

  • CHEERS!!!!!!!

  • These guys have definitely listened their share of the Floggers. Which is not a bad thing at all.

  • Good song, but the first line reminded me a lot of The Rebel of the sacred heart.

Take me back to that open road Where it leads ill never know (Bloody irish boys)

Terrified of the open road Yeah, where it leads ya never know. (Flogging Molly)

    Still a good song though.

  • the tune obviously is the same of swagger but still great interpretation

    say aye for the irish!

  • what times

  • is it just me or does this whole album sound electronic? and for the record on this and other songs from said album, i can hear Flogging Molly, Social Distortion, Rancid, and even Atom & his Package in places just off hand. 'My Wicked Ways' is 'Story of my Life' by SD. Not Complainin', Just Sayin

  • oh, and the song people are thinking of by FM is "swagger." Stop pretending they're not similar.

  • Love it!

  • Comment removed

  • well ive been listening to dropkick and flogging for awhile kinda over them but i can assure you this isnt the same beat as the drunken lullabies thats just retard fix your bloody ears

  • I think that this does sound a lot like a lot of flogging molly songs (at least at the very begging)... that's not to say it isn't badass though =D

  • the Pogues man the pogues created this whole new Era of punk irish folk,

    i just love it man

  • All you people who keep saying this song sounds like this song or that song need to broaden your music most Irish\Scottish music has this beat it goes with the genre.

  • I agree completely with what you said!

  • Sounds like midi.

  • Comment removed

  • ace tune, sounds like new pogues

  • wow sounds just like flogging molly's drunken lullabies except the chorus is different

  • Sry...but the sounds like the rebels of the sacred heart

  • it's the same as flogging molly's swagger

  • your all nobs, its a good song by its own rites,

  • its exactly like drunken lullabies... the banjo intro, the violin at the begginning the way he sings the lyrics... looks like they just changed the lyrics and a few things in the music...

  • thats because thats a traditional Irish song/ditty that they both use as well as many of Celtic rock bands........

just like Dropkick Murphys have many songs that use traditional irish and scottish ditty's as well.

  • yeah nice st patrick's day

  • irish men = sex

  • Im as irish as it gets...and I have a mohawk

  • ME 2

  • Awesome ^^

  • ahhh... the music of the gods

  • Gimme whiskey and beer !!

  • This ROCKS!!!!!

  • AWESOME!!!!!!!

  • Of course the music sounds alike to other notable celtic punk bands....its called a genre...

  • No, cus it isn't that similar lol :) Totally diferent lyrics and with some fantasy you can imagine some similarity in the riffs. This songs rocks harder, having more a drunk feeling :D!

  • rebels of the sacred heart by flogging molly! am i the only one that had notice this similarity? is it plagiarism??

  • yup i notived too but only the first sentence not the whole song....

and it plays diffrent also the similar and the rythem sometimes...

  • and isnt that first line a line from a famous irish poem or something?

  • Shut up everybody , they are good .

    DropkickMurphy's

    Flogging Molly

    Darkbuster

    The Pogues!

  • This song really reminds me of "Swagger" by Flogging Molly.

But then again, I personally have no clue who was first... xD
