  • at least edd gets most of the camera time!

  • @micko547

I'm sure the owner was well compensated for appearing on the show and allowing Mike to drive it, so who cares if he spins the wheels!

  • why the hell does mike have to use slang and he just tries way tooooo hard to talk like a "cool person" i hate him!!! they should kick mike out and let Edd do it alone

  • If Mike took my 911 for a drive I'd tell him not to keep back his right foot. There's only one real way to drive a 911: Pedal to the metal!!

  • what a fuckhead spinning the tyres like that. Not your rubber to do a burnout on dickhead. Not to menstion the guy probably has got a great set of tyres on it

  • @subzerostorm I was thinking the same thing lol

  • @solorflare

Lol usually i wouldnt even think of it. But recently i spent alot of money on brand new michelin p2 sport tyres on my 944 porsche so i would understand how stupid this would be. You got a porsche?

  • @subzerostorm i agree you shouldnt do that with a car thats not yours but you forget that this is TV and i can almost garentee you that they set that up just for the shot and asked the guy if they could before he did it.

  • 6.19 check the filler cap for the white in the oil in case the head gasket has gone - what the F**k, AIR COOLED NO WATER, someone should have told edd before he pulled the engine out!!

  • Or that owner could say that you need to check to see if the car has had the chain tensioner upgrade and the airbox pop-off valve........

  • why does he say check for white in the oil for a headgasket? its an air cooled engine, coolant cant leak into the oil....

  • I understand what's the point of this tv show, BUT there are some cars, ie: DS, 911, and so on, need to be fixed properly. Half restored car is going to cost triple later, not to mention disappointment of the next owner. Porsche is not for high school students. If you don't have money for that, leave it as it is. Top of that perhaps Ed should be wirh Mike at the next purchase and stop him before he...

  • poor poor transmission :(

  • I hate Mike..

  • Glue is the enemy.

  • Hi at 01:03 Ed uses vinyl cleaner ... I've tried to get hold of this but keep getting an aerosol foam cleaner which is not what I'm looking for, would any of you know how i can find out what Ed's used or what its called please thanks

  • Mike is an asshole. "That must have took you 5 minutes, what have you been doing"

  • WICKED!!!

  • SUPER

  • " it's a cracker isn't it " yes it crumbles easly HAHAHHA! ha.. moveing on

  • white in the oil... surely that can ony be a drop of condensation? hardly that bad as it only shows short trips and an oil change wouldn't hurt. (air cooled no coolant!) as for catagory A who the hell would buy a car that must be cruhed? all the spares included. cat D or C maybe.....

  • i hope he warmed up the engine before doing that burnout...otherwise that poor guy is gonna have to get his crankshaft machined

  • mike's a choad smoker

  • Avoid a category A write off... An insult to common sense! seriously what a tit

  • if Mike asked to drive my motor and then spun the tyres as he took off, I'd kick his teeth in. Prat.

  • Indeed!

  • @micko547 Same!

  • @micko547 id put a clause in...... "you break it, you buy it"!!!

  • The owner of the good condition 911 talks about getting white stuff in the oil when talking about what to look out for. Surely the white in oil is coolant, something that a 911 doesn't have because it is air cooled?

Can someone please confirm this for me. Just want to know if Im wrong in thinking that or the guy is wrong

  • the guys wrong coz white in the oil is coolent

  • Then he is correct, if the head gasket has gone then coolent will leek into the oil, derrrrr

  • These engines dont have coolant because they are air cooled.

  • Air cooled engine means there is no coolant.

  • ya i know

  • Actually, that's not 100% true, because the oil in the engine serves as lubrificant AND coolant!

  • Oh I stand corrected then.

Although the oil does act as a coolant, by preventing the friction from creating too much heat, there is no separate cooling system in an air cooled engine.

Correct me if Im wrong though

  • It can also be condensation in the oil as it heats up and cools down over many cycles. Anyone that has a catchcan will notice some whitish stuff and maybe some nasty looking water in there, even though of course you never put water directly into the engine. :)

  • Ed is Mikes gimp! I notice Ed's wages or labour are never in the Budget! : ) lol!

  • yes but the main concept is that you do this yourself at your own home garage, i.e. you would provide the labor and the only cost would be in parts... still though I think Ed gets his payment in gay sex :p

  • Do it yourself? I dont have a 2 poster ramp at my house and if they're all about repairing then they'd have taken the old gearbox apart and replaced the sync on 3rd

  • great show thanx alot for uploading this

  • Great show.

  • what year was this porsche?

  • what work was that on the soft top vinyl?

what exactly did he to look just like that?

  • mike is annoying to me, but who knows it could just be acting, i really think ed is the star of the show and he should take over :D

  • he's a laugh haha

  • I love this show! Don't criticize Mike, he's doing a good dealer job, even though he says in every show that that car is his absolute favorite. But Ed, what a genious! He knows so much about cars, stunning!

  • mike NEEDS a beating! Eds the star of the show.

  • Mike is a complete tit....a crunch in the gearbox will ALWAYS be an expensive fix.

  • White in the oil means condensation or just air in the oil so I guess it could still mean theres a fucked up gasket somewhere in the oil system?

  • he unscrewed and unriveted the fender trim, but didn't fill the holes? Talk about a hack, that is going to rust before you know it. If you're going to do something, do it right.

  • Umm, that guy with the black 911 doesn't know anything abou the car. He said to look for white oil...an indication of a blown head gasket. These cars don't have coolant or a conventional head gasket. The engine is air-cooled in this model 911. Clearly doesn't turn a wrench on the car.

  • Tell me about it! The guy with the black 911 is a plonker - a Cat A write off is not road legal and should be crushed!!! Also when he says head gasket as you said he's wrong - but he even said 'the' - well it's a flat 6, so there would be 2 anyway. What an idiot! (to be honest I don't know much about air cooled 911s, I'm a BMW man), but even I know basic stuff like that!

  • lol at the end xD

    a new set would cost 60p.. :D

  • man this show is awesome, as good as "DIY - Classic Car Restoration"!

  • wonderful. thanks for posting.

by the way, do you have the episode where they restore the classic mini?

  • Only just started watching Wheeler Dealers- is Ed a permanent fixture? Mike seems to know the score, and is a real Cockney sparrow! Thanx 4 postin!

  • why didnt the wheeler dealers put a porsche spoiler on like the person with the good car had?

  • becose it cost money and they have to stick to the budget awso they want the car to look classic as possible :)

  • I think Edd used his better judgement which told him not to put the rear spoiler on the 911 - the man is a true genius and i think he made the right decision - top lad

  • "Take the oil filler cap off look for white in the oil means the head gasket has gone" I thought these were air cooled? not water cooled.

  • EDD CHINA= GUT

  • Anyone know what year this 911 is?

    Welches Jahr ist dieses Auto?

  • it's a 74
