I watched season 8 once and I'll never do it again ! I prefer think that Hyde and Jackie get back together in Chicago (end season 7) and live happy and in love for the rest of their lifes.

@LadyScorpio39 I can't remember exactly which one it is, but I know they break up, she says to him something like "well, I don't love you anymore". Something like that. Because he cheats on her, 'cause he saw her sitting with Kelso, and thought she cheated on him and wanted to pay her back.

jackie ruined things herself with Hyde becuase she wouldnt forget about kelso. and its a shame becuase all kelso did was cheat on her. Hyde would have been great for jackie if she had of put her heart out there. hyde is so much more sincere than michael ever was.

Actually the new writers from season 8 ruined things.. because after the hole nurse incident and the "get of my boyfriend" slip they both had grown up and had a better relationship... if this was real life everything that happened on season 8 would never have happened and they so would have gotten back together!

I Agree... I heard a rummor that it was because Wilmer Valderrama (Fez) said he would only stay in the show for season 8 if Fez got a long therm relationship. So the producers had to choose either Jackie or Donna... soh the decided that the fans would be less desapointed to see Hyde and jackie not ending up together than to se Eric and Donna apart....

Fez and Laurie together would have worked too! she was pervy like him... I actually loved the time they were married and he was always with Red, calling he dad and everything! But I also would love for Fez to keep beeing himself on season 8... To me the writers changed his personality.. he went from a funny candy loving perv to just a perv... even his voice changed!!!!!

But I guess that was true to every characters... they all seemed out of their true selfs on season 8!

Hyde was a drunk and mean guy on that season.. as if he had learned nothing ... he was always sarcastic and alouf.. but he was never mean! He actually was really kind and sweet on the older seasons.. even before Jackie!!!!

And Jackie went back to har bitchy self... as if she hadn't grown at all through the seasons... by the end of season 7 we see her independent, not as shallow as she uded to be... than, on season 8 we find her back as shallow and bitchy as she wa son season 1!

In my mind the show ended on season 7... Hyde went to her hotel, there was no Kelso there... he popped the question and she said yes!!!! Than.. 6 months latter they were still happy and engaged... Eric came back to Africa.. got engaged to Donna also and they all lived happily ever after! =)

No season 8 for me please!!!!!

@Folie And that realy sucked!!! And couldn't be far from the truth! I Hyde and jackiewere more popular than Eric and Donna!! And just because Wilmer wanted a long term relationship for his character, it didn't mean he had to end up with her on the finale!

Why didn't the writers just create a new character to be Fez's girlfriend? That would have worked a lot better than adding that Randy to the show!

Let's hope they actually make a reunion and than bring these two back together were they belong!
