Honor him by honoring his teachings...peace be with you red crow

  • Fly with the eagles Red Crow.

  • I had superpower the first thing I would do would be moving all europeans from America and Australia... I am from europe myself, but what colonializm left behind is just wrong and illegal!

  • dont forget to move the ones from Sout Africa and South america while you are at it ;)

I have indian and European blood. What my European brothers did to my indian family was savage, now we have to heal it with forgivness and working together, we are all tribe men of this planet. white, black, indian... we need to work things out together.

  • @Santisantiago

just remember to tell your children of your native american roots and tell them to express themselves about and to never be shy or sad about it... think of it as a gift that native americans and europeans have connected like this... =) even if native americans are shut out from society in some areas in north america... sad but true sometimes =) have a nice day... its sad i can speak english and not my own language as well...

  • @Santisantiago I refuse to be related to any Blacks thank you very much!

  • @walleyrt69 Don't be silly. We are made of atoms, everywhere there are atoms. A human body has 50.000trilion of cells and any cell has 10thousen atoms.

Don't you know that the atoms of a person body jump in another body?

So, the atoms of a black person jump into yours.

So, you have got all atoms of any black person you meet. This is physic.

    We are all connected.

  • @Santisantiago you are plenty of reason.

  • @Santisantiago This is beautiful. You are a wonderful example of peace and harmony between european and native american.

I am Italian and i love native americans. I feel connected with the whole world.

you ha ve wrote a beautiful message. Thank you. I'm agree with you

  • @Santisantiago YES, WE NEED TO WORK THINGS TOGETHER... BUT FIRST SPAIN, FRANCE, PORTUGAL , U.SA, ENGLAND NEED TO ADMIT THE AMERICAN GENOCIDE AND APOLIGIZE.

IN FACT, ITS THE MINIMUM TO DO, THEY HAVE TO APOLIGIZE! RED CROW TOLD IN ONE OF THE VIDEOS THAT HERE IN NORTH AMERICA THE POPULATION PAST FROM 60 MILLIONS TO 800.000 PEOPLE! CAN U IMAGINE?

JUSTICE ITS THE FIRST STEP, JUSTICE FOR ALL OF THE 3 AMERICAS.

  • @Santisantiago That's real, my spirit brother...I'm Indian (Choctaw, Cherokee, Seminole), African, Irish, and Chinese. I used to reject certain parts of my heritage, but we are all brothers and sisters of the Earth. "All life is sacred, treat all beings with respect."- Native American Commandment

  • @Santisantiago My Irish family did the same. I am Seminole and Irish, I've always known of the tragic history here in Florida. I loved hearing all his messages and the love that came from his heart. Thank you for sharing. <3

  • @Santisantiago ........ Couldn't have said it better myself!! Cheers

  • Don't forget the white canadians who have been using flu shots to kill Natives

  • America I meant as the usa, canada and latin america!

  • Thank you for this wonderful tribute to a truly Great man!

  • He will be missed!... love to all your family....love in light, inspire many from the other side.

  • I was at the Indian Ctr when my mom called me to tell me he'd passed. He stayed with us when he was traveling; I was just a little kid. He was funny, smart, angry, played and sang sitting on the edge of the kitchen table. Probably the only time I ever sat still was when he was singing or telling a story. That's how I learned I could channel my anger through music and words. Thanks, Uncle Floyd.

  • He was nessasary for today. RIP!

Best way to pay respect to this great man.

  • He is home now. Ma te Atua e tiaki e te Rangatira. May we feel the spirit of his life and radiate the joy that his life embodied in his words and actions. May he live always in our own courage to love tenaciously all who live on our Great Mother with us. May his life and deeds be for the continuing good of all our relations in which no divisions exist internal or external. May we speak our truth so it lands as softly as his words. May we leave indelible marks on the lives of our fellow ones

  • There is no death, only a change of worlds...

    Added: December 13, 2007

Floyd "Red Crow" Westerman died today. The actor and musician was a leading figure in the American Indian Movement for 40 years. A very great interview with him on several topics...

    Respectfully..

  • when did floyd pass??

  • I just learned from this tribute of his death. I had just watched: "Indigenous Native American Prophecy (Elders Speak part 1)part 1 of 5 from "madrazorray" and I am grateful for his willingness to share, educate & care his your brothers & sisters. So many are sharing their knowledge & showing LOVE for one another~ Respectfully, A quote from John Trudell at a Medicine Conference a few yrs. back, "but, after more than 500 yrs~~WE ARE STILL HERE"~~ Mr. Saginaw Grant is very present also.

  • have you seen his cameo in a Darma and Greg episode? I wonder if there's youtubes of it?? His strategic use of stereotypes was brilliant in its subtlety AND in its directness. How did he do that???

  • Gone but NEVER forgotten!! Rest in Peace Red Crow!!

  • I've known Red Crow nearly all of my life. I called him Uncle whenever he came back to Minnesota. I miss him very much, but I do know that I will sit with him again are the "Council Fire". He was a very wonderful man. I love him dearly and am blessed to have had him in my life. -white eagle woman of the crane clan - white earth nation, mn

  • I only knew Floyd through my brother, who knew him, and from TV and movies, where he projected great honor. Seeing Floyd come on the screen was always a lift. We are all fortunate that he chose and was able to be so broadly available to the larger culture. I will miss seeing him in the only way I knew him.

  • Thank You!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Thank You for Re Lighting the Fire of DIGNITY--American Indian Movement Saved My Life!!!!!!!!!

  • I'll never forget Floyd, or the times we got to sing together. Arizona, Oklahoma and South Dakota over several years. The laughter we shared...the fights we fought...how he would bring children to the stage to help sing the BIA Song.

I'm glad to be back on the net after several months, but I'm incredibly sad that the first email I received was on Floyd's passing...4 months late it turns out.

"Can't you see I'm going home".

    Respectfully,
