What Brampton lacks is the express network, which Sauga currently has, but they will have Zum by September. Good luck on Zum!

I mean Jesus, I was around when there still was 4 banks, When our library cards were pieces of laminated paper. BEFORE DVD'S!!! I've never had a problem with living here. the organization of brampton is a joke, it takes me a half hour to walk to the closest store and i live pretty close to one in comparison to many of my friends. and transit is useless that you can get on a bus ride it for a halfhour before realizing you are going the wrong way because there is nothing inside the bus or in the scenery to indicate exactly where you are going if you were not already familiar with the area. so basically. bramton sucks monkey nuts.
I've been living in Brampton since I was born. I never really liked this city. I find it to be completely messed up and behind the times. Quaint is lovely. Brampton is not quaint. It lags behind. Over the past three years, the price for a single ticket for adults/students (which is an identical price) has gone up 40 cents. Sure, that doesn't seem like much, but when you take the bus everyday, TWICE... It adds up.
Not to mention, ESPECIALLY in the winter... Busses are always late. AT LEAST 10-20 minutes.

I'm from Brampton, I've lived here ever since I can remember. I mean, I still remember when they put a christmas tree in the four corners square. I mean Jesus, I was around when there still was 4 banks, When our library cards were pieces of laminated paper. BEFORE DVD'S!!! I've never had a problem with living here. Sure our little town may not be the best but hey, Its our town and its better than Toronto and theyre homeless! (No offence). Theres no place I'd rather live. (Except for SEGA CITY!!)

I agree Brampton Transit needs some improvement, but some of the times between places are a bit... ahem, questionable?
Perhaps the timing via Brampton Transit would be better if you chose a regular day, instead of the start of a snowstorm? It doesn't take 10 -- 15 minutes to walk from 10 and Bovaird to Fortino's.

I know whatcha mean how you just half to have a car. The streets of urban sprawl cities, like Brampton, are very pedestrian un-friendly and public transit nightmare. Everything is far away. What ever happened to that community feeling with shops and suburban villages and markets. I've lived in the Bloor West strip in Etobicoke and its just fabulous. It's bigger than downtown Brampton and yet I bet most people haven't heard of it.

the organization of brampton is a joke, it takes me a half hour to walk to the closest store and i live pretty close to one in comparison to many of my friends. and transit is useless that you can get on a bus ride it for a halfhour before realizing you are going the wrong way because there is nothing inside the bus or in the scenery to indicate exactly where you are going if you were not already familiar with the area. so basically. bramton sucks monkey nuts.

I've been living in Brampton since I was born. I never really liked this city. I find it to be completely messed up and behind the times. Quaint is lovely. Brampton is not quaint. It lags behind. Also, they never seem to stop removing farms/fields for more housing. Great. More housing. The roads change at an absurd rate, and construction NEVER ends. Honestly, if there is an individual person that personally updates Google Maps, Brampton makes him/her cry. This rant is over.

nah brampton transit really does suck that bad man. i take two busses from school. maybe 5 k MAX. that took me 1.5 hours everyday at 3 pm. the time where the connections are at their best cause there are more busses. and the streets my route took had no traffic so... crap on brampton transit. what a shitty town i live in.

He should've transferred from the Hwy 10 to the Bovaird Bus to Trinity Common (Bovaird/Hwy 410) and there is a Blockbuster and A/P grocery right near that Canadian Tire in the background. This video is misleading. That parking lot isn't any different than e.g. Yorkdale in Toronto.
The good thing about Brampton is that they've stopped building high density buildings like near Queen and Dixie. High density=stress=crime.

Brampton Transit. Worst transit system ever.
Over the past three years, the price for a single ticket for adults/students (which is an identical price) has gone up 40 cents. Sure, that doesn't seem like much, but when you take the bus everyday, TWICE... It adds up.
Not to mention, ESPECIALLY in the winter... Busses are always late. AT LEAST 10-20 minutes.

I live in Brampton and the transit is fine... and it does deserve the name flower city because in the summer, its a clean city, very friendly and lots of flowers in the parks. Mississauga SUCKS!

I grew up in Brampton and took the number 2 almost every day. I thought Brampton transit had to be the worst transit system in the world. Then I moved to Kitchener-Waterloo. I now miss Brampton transit. It was great. Isn't that sad?
