Jesus said that the world hated Him first. You will always be persecuted when following Him. Dont trust in yourself at all because we are always so precarious. Trust in Jesus and give Him your fears and doubts otherwise there will be a life long pursuit of relying on oneself which is like spitting in your Creators face and saying thanks for your sacrifice Jesus but no thanks. I got this. This will only land you in hell. Jesus is the only way. Not self help books or advice.

Awesome video. I once saw a motivational speaker that encouraged people who had negative thoughts to open their mouths and immediatley begin saying positive affirmations (aloud). The speaker said that a person cannot talk positive and think negative thoughts at the same time. He stated that the words instantly ceases the negative thinking.

Great video, Rachel! I would also add for those that are new to positive affirmations that at first it may feel like you are lying to yourself when you say them. This is not uncommon when you say positive affirmations in the present tense (as described by Rachel) that are contradictory to your present reality. However, just know that it is ok - you've simply noticed a limiting belief within yourself and should repeat those affirmations more frequently until they begin to "feel" more natural :)

I think self doubt is something we all suffer from time to time, but as you say, you have to "kill" those negative thoughts as soon as you discover them.
