People need to stop crying about the Attitude Era. I was a huge fan of it back in the day, but it's dated now, The Attitude Era was the epitome of Generation X, the whole alternative thing, nu-metal, late 90's early 00's. That time has come and gone, get over it.

I guess everybody that commented on this video can agree that wrestlemania 17 was the best wrestlemania of all time!!! I was twelve when i saw this live on ppv, i actually stayed home from school the day after because i was so blown away by this wrestlemania. wrestlemania 17 is simply the greatest wrestlemania of all time. there will never be another one like it!!

Best WrestleMania ever made. The matches were REALLY entertaining. The atmosphere was undescribable. The rivalries were well prepared. The Attitude Era began with a bang, and it ended with a bang. This era is untouchable.

The sad thing is that no matter how much we whine about how phenomenal this era was and how much we want it TO return, it will NEVER happen. Most of the wrestlers from this superior era are either deceased or waaaay past their prime.  This was an era that simply cannot be repeated. I'm lucky enough to say iWas there for the whole thing. I do feel sorry for todays audience that they have to endure this TV-Y (not even PG to me) era.

Nar 15/16 was garbage. Wrestling was the shit at the time though yes you are correct on that one. WM21 - 24 + 26 were good as well (though wrestling is no longer "the shit"). 25 was garbage and 27 will probably be remembered as garbage (though it wasn't as bad as mania 2,9,25 and hell 15/16 were worse then 27. 11/12 also fit in the bad category).

@slowdude I hate to say it but i agree with you , and i think the probblem is that in todays Manias there more concerned about physique when its the mic skills/trash talkers that get ratings in. Wrestlemania use to mean something , and the wwe titles use to hold a certain amount of prestige. One match i felt would of been worthy of a wrestlemania event would of been tripple h vs stone cold three stages of hell at no way out. Mania would of been sold out, much better than mania 27.

I think the problem with Wrestlemania's is the booking of the matches at each event. 25 for example would of been regarded much higher if HBK vs Taker was the main event, same as 24 if Flair vs HBK was the main event, I'll continue and say if Batista vs Taker was the main event of 23 it would be regarded as just a bit better. WM18 should of been HHH vs Rock or Austin for the undisputed title with the one not facing HHH facing Hogan. WM21... the WWE title should of been....

John Cena vs JBL in that brilliant street fight they had a Judgement day (If it happened at Mania he might be viewed just a tiny bit better now having a much better win to win the title then the anti climatic way he did win it. WM22 should of been Taker vs Angle for the title while Rey and Orton just had some pointless match.

and your right Austin vs HHH would of been great at mania, hell mania 18 would of been perfect. I don't think 3 stages of hell would be needed though

as it was WM, Austin vs HHH during the aftermath of the attituyde era. I'm sure Austin vs HHH would of sold better then Austin vs Scott Hall and HHH vs Jericho.

The world titles need to be unified. The mid card belts are fine being separated (gives the show that doesn't have the world title something to do in the mean time). Hopefully the WWE manages to not screw up Cena vs Rock which might now sound as big as Austins vs Rock and it isn't.. its still a big match.

Tripple H even said " defeating the undertakers winning streak at mania is more prestigious than even the heavyweight title." ...well ok than. If thats true shouldn't it of been the last match at mania, it sure did look alot better than cena vs. the miz. ( still was bad the script writters choose for taker to make tripple h lose to a trap out, but the rest of the match was good. )

None of the titles were held in any creative matches......no ladder , steel cage , iron man , three stages of hell, last man standing, first blood, buried alive, inferno......all of them were just plan boring matches, you don't do that for a mania. If i wrote the scripts for mania there would never be another dull moment again and every match would be epic they way there suppose to be.
