Sony has a very stringent CONSOLE release product life cycle. This is an add-on not a console. I did do research into when the next gen consoles would probably launch. No body knows when they will. If you knew anything about gaming in the past most consoles launch 4-6 years after their predecessor. If the PS3 came out in 2006 the PS4 will PROBABLY come out in 2012. I already explained in a different comment that I know Sony will keep making the PS3 after that.
I think Sony will do something with the PS4 by about 2012. They wont stop making the PS3 or PS3 games until later though. Like how the PS3 is out now, but Sony still supports the PS2.
That's about the latest I could imagine. But if you think that is logical that's just your opinion. I might make a video explaining why I think 2012 could be the release date.

I agree. IDK if anyone has noticed but all the Natal demo's, the player has been standing a great distance away from the TV, meaning you are gonna need a f**king massive room to play with natal well, that would already cut me out of buying it, if I had a 360.
I think the motion wand has a bit more potential, but I personally would not buy it, as I am a believer that the normal joypad will always be more intuitive than waving controllers around.

you're right that Sony has blu-ray ( the next console will probably have it too) and the strongest technology of all the consoles out now. But there is always a way to make it even better. By about 2012 they will have way batter technology than they did when the PS3 was made in 2006. I think they'll keep bluray but they will make online, graphix and some other stuff better.

i dont think the wand will be that difficult to program compared to the natal! the wand is similar to the wii. the natal seams complicated 2 years after it comes out 720 will come out. why is microsoft making a new console so early? its only been 3-4 years since the 7th gen. this is why xbox 360 failed. they just rush in the new system then what do you know? I think the motion wand has a bit more potential, but I personally would not buy it, as I am a believer that the normal joypad will always be more intuitive than waving controllers around.

microsoft is still going to make the next xbox. People just call it the 720 because they have no idea what the name will be. While Natal might have 14 games at launch most of them probably wont be good. That is the way all consoles/addons start. Most of the launch games for the 360 and PS3 sucked. This is just my prediction though.

Most game lanuchs were quite good halo, cod-mw2, killzone not to mention rock band and guitar hero that sold thousands of add ons, it will be popular because it cheap and completely different sure will sorta like that but it has limit the natal uses ur hole body, facial recognition they can put your reflection in a game millions of ppl would pay to see that.

you're right that Sony has blu-ray ( the next console will probably have it too) and the strongest technology of all the consoles out now. But there is always a way to make it even better. By about 2012 they will have way batter technology than they did when the PS3 was made in 2006. I think they'll keep bluray but they will make online, graphix and some other stuff better.

i dont think the wand will be that difficult to program compared to the natal! the wand is similar to the wii. the natal seams complicated 2 years after it comes out 720 will come out. why is microsoft making a new console so early? its only been 3-4 years since the 7th gen. this is why xbox 360 failed. they just rush in the new system then what do you know? RROD... sony and microsoft said that their new add on will be used on the 8th gen consoles. that might work out.

yeah the PS3 is going to hold out for a LONG time till the next installment.
wii&360 time will be up soon. Well idk about the wii. I mean if they dont change soimething \like drastically with it then its not going to be able to compete with a 720 or PS3. Nintendo need to update the wii with more features or make a whole new console on its own because the wii right now really isnt doing anything for me and I got a wii on launch date. I'm planning to get a 360 and a PS3 soon.
