@D413373R i did for the first bit of the city, took a week to construct 1 building.. I didn't mind until i released it as a map and people wanted more, so I introduced myself to Single player commands/MCEdit. I built the floors/walls in the game, used MCEdit basically as a crane to bring the walls up, etc.

@xXHcAssassinzXx yes. all you do is copy the map into the folder you have your sever starter. go into server.properties and where it says level-name=XXXXX make that what ever you named your world. EXAMPLE

level-name=NewCraftCity

You should put stops on the rail. and then have an exsessible lever to turn it back on and keep going. Just stop at importan places n' such. You should also build a station for the major ones or all of them.

@ThePwnatron Yea thats already implemented, not in this video though, it was just the rails. There are signs, levers, stairs, etc on specific streets throughout the map now
