@oasisnl - A Flash of Green - excellent film, took 2nd at Cannes in 84 or 85, RJ produced as well as acted in it (same film at 1:12) - Victor Nunez directed - Ed Harris starred and it's probably his best work - hard to find because it's not on DVD (I've emailed Nunez to find out who has the rights but haven't heard back) but you can often find it on VHS on ebay.
I miss Jordan so much. I loved him as Dirk Pitt in Raise The Titanic. In my opinion that was the best movie he ever stared in because come on who would one to take part in a Titanic movie like the one Jordan did. He must have been so lucky that he got the roll as Pitt.
I think I remember reading that his favorite roles were in Incident at Vichy (a play for public TV he did in the 1970s) and Armistead in Gettysburg (his last film, in a role that was written specifically for him, one he committed to in the 1970s and stayed committed to til it was filmed.) He was brilliant in both. Debate still on as to whether he knew when he did Gburg that he had brain cancer - I've heard it both ways from people who ought to know. I hope he didn't know.
Sorry about the quality on some of these clips, but it's the thought that counts. The clips are from Captains & the Kings, The Hunt for Red October, Old Boyfriends, A Flash of Green, Posse, Primary Motive, The Murder of Mary Phagan and Gettysburg.
