  • great tune ......Arthur Alexander is truly underrrated..I really appreciate your instrumental take

  • I'm a great fan of Will's but this tops all and is just amazing. Lovely timing. Best wishes from a 1,000 year old novice guitarist.

  • @Johntheresonator Thanks John - this was made nearly 3 years ago and I'm conscious that the video and audio quality would be better if I did it now - but there you go! :-)

  • Very nicely done. It captures the mood of the Arthur Alexander original vocal version.

  • I was expecting a sung version but this was a nice surprise. Well done Will.

  • Thank you so much

  • Love Arthur Alexander! Thanks for the Guitar lesson!

  • Very very nice playing Will - a calm, peaceful tune. The video quality is about as good as YouTube ever provides.

  • Very nice!

  • Many compliments to you Will. I'd like this song a lot. A simple melody with some nice features in it. I will study, but it will take some time.

I am what they call me here, a man who can play lots of parts of songs, but never the whole one. I'd like to learn some parts of this song too.

  • Thanks Rob - I hope you get all your parts together one day soon! :-) Will

  • I havent heard of that guy..... sounding great again my friend! :)

  • He wrote "Anna" (recorded by the Beatles), "You Better Move On" (recorded by the Rolling Stones), "Need A Shot of Rhythm'n Blues" (recorded by Clyde McPhatter)... A forgotten genius :-) Will

  • a forgotten genius indeed. great rendition!

  • He was a singer too. He wrote 'Soldier of love' which the Beatles also recorded. Gerry and the Pacemakers recorded 'Shot of Rhythm and Blues'. Sadly he died at about 50 some 15 years ago. Sorry for that useless information

  • Was looking at the original song of Alexander, a sad lovestory.... very nice. Looking at the chords, it seems so easy.... but I hear better!

You play it very well, thank you for sharing.

    Roeleke

  • Lovely.
