6) Priming issues. The filter is supposed to "self start," but that is hardly ever the case without needing to use the priming button. This button is MUCH MUCH smaller than the priming button on the Pro II's... pushing it doesn't prime much water through the filter at all.
At this point, I would have to suggest sticking with the Pro II models. They have been in the market for around 5 years now and have proven to be rugged, quiet, and highly reliable.

I have not been hearing good things about this filter. Among the problems:
1) While it *is* described as "Eheim quiet," it's definitely louder than the Pro II models.
2) The internal trays and other various parts are thinner and not as sturdy as the Pro II models.
3) The flow seems less powerful than the Pro II models, despite having published specs rating it higher than the Pro II's.
