  • God bless Malta. This anthem is very nice and well put-together. The country is strong and the people are absolutley wonderful. I've seen few countries like it. Viva Malta~!

Much love and respect from the United States.

  • Congratulations for your national holiday today Malta!!!

In 1964 Malta became independent from the United Kingdom, means today its your 47ts birthday!!! Great. Two years ago I visit Malta in my vacations and it was amazing. Brilliant weather great landscape and coasts and cultural Highlights in Famagusta/Valetta brilliant. Wish all Maltese people a great day and a good future

Best wishes from your friends in Germany ^^

  • @AleksandraGerNagel

    deep thanks from Malta ;)

originally is longer, about 3 mins or so.

  • Ah, the anthem of Southern Sicily

  • @LarryScottBB Southern Sicily my arse! That's Malta!

  • @kahlani racially and culturally, you've more in common with Sicily than Italy or north african countries

  • @LarryScottBB It's like comparing the Irish to the English. They seem similar but they are not. Mind you, there is a portion of Sicilian influence but it is just a small one compared to the influence left by the British and the Knights in their tradition and folklore.

  • @LarryScottBB Yes,our history is more related to Sicily than North Africa indeed.

  • @onewhopwns no w have no relation with juste u steal language from us

  • so harmonic & naturist...this beautiful anthem...despite its short length...has calmed my soul entirely...& made me breathe fresh air...logic feature coming from a tiny...but happy nation...inside the Med Sea...with a blessed weather...Maltese national song is one of the top 10...at least on my list...my several congratulations to Malta...from Czech Republic

  • greetings from czech republic

  • malta s'est li jkun il-pajjiż aqwa fid-dinja

  • 4 people are sick

  • I beg to differ slightly with peck305. Having lived the times, we were proud to fight to liberate Europe shoulder to shoulder with the British and Commonwealth Foces.. We are proud to have served as a strong foundation for the liberalisation of the European Continent. Many have shed their lives for our freedom. May God Bless them all. Let us all be vigilant not to lose our freedom again. God Bless Malta. VIVA MALTA U l-MALTIN!!!!

    Viva Malta u l-Maltin!!!!

  • GOD BLESS MALTA FROM THE UK

  • This uploader have many anthems in his channel but no Afghan :(

  • Part 3- Ma ghandi xejn kontra l-Inglizi anzi kuntent li konna kolonja Ingliza u mhux ta' xi pajjiz iehor. Imma ma nistughx nighdu li l-Maltin riedu jkunu kolonja Ingliza ghax Malta accetat l-ghajnuna Ingliza fl-1789. Barra minhekk qas kinet l-intenzjoni tal-Maltin li tintalab ghajnuna minghand l-Inglizi (ghax grat b'kumbinazzjoni), l-intenzjoni kinet li l-ghajnuna tintalab minn Napli imma l-istorja ma riditx hekk.

  • Part 2- Il-kostituzzjonijiet li inghatw lill-Maltin minghand l-Inglizi qatt ma kinu sodisfacenti ghax-xewqat veri tal-Maltin, li ix-xewqa fil-qieh ta' qalbom dejjem kinet l-Indipendenza. Malta kinet port u bazi importanti ghall-inglizi u ghalhekk din ix-xewqa qatt ma setat isehh, ghalhekk il-maltin kienu jitolbu biss parti mill-amministrazjoni ta' arthom, u kinu lesti jiggildu ghal dan(bhal fis-Sette Giugno).

  • Greatings from South Korea! I've never been there and most koreans don't know your country but I know because one of my puppies is Maltese XD

  • @TolangJenny omg your south korean i love korea i would like to vist you country so much :)

  • Some Maltese people can have short tempers!

  • @CaptCavemanUK : so? aren't there some short tempered people in the UK? :)

  • MALTIJA U KBURIJA (minn barra mit-toroq l'ghandna)......

  • Malta is truly a strong country, regardless of its size nor of what anyone else says.

  • i do belive malta was in a lot of hardship i mean being an english colony to start and then being takin over by the italians in WW2

  • @fyx13579 Malta was NEVER taken by the Italians in WW2,that`s why there is the George Cross in the top left corner of the flag.Although some traitors wished it was but they were deported to Uganda by the British.

  • thanks everyone for your support to malta.....ill be happy to visit england one day ;)

  • Best regards from Poland for brave Malta.

  • @antyrezun hi my friend lives in poland

  • come on England lets all stand together = voted best England world cup song 2010.

  • This is beautiful

  • Viva Malta U viva Ghawdex. :) L-ahhar li indaqq dan l-innu b'mod nazzjonali huwa waqt il-quddiesa ta' fuq il-fosos flimkien mal-papa Benedittu XVI

  • 'Agħti kbir Alla id-dehen lil min jaħkimha'

we should really change this line because it is so part of that old colonial mentality.

  • @ratt012 jew skond min ikun fil gvern trid tghid

  • @ratt012 Isek m'intiex Malti sieheb. Ahna l-Maltin ma nixtiequ deni lil hadd, anke lil min jahkimna. Kun lest li tmut ghall-glorja ta' Malta u ta' Alla.

  • The music is nice but the lyrics are really stupid.

  • @ratt012 what do u mean were Maltese we talk Maltese

  • @ratt012

  • Long live Malta!

Greetings from the United States of America

  • @thugugbob thanks alot <3

  • I'm from Poland. I've been to Malta last year... AMAZING!!! It was my first time abroad so far and probably it was my best ;) Malta is such a magic country. I was petrified. Beautiful days, more beautiful nights. Architecture... damn I could talk like this for all day long or even more.

<3 Malta! Greetings from Poland! I'll come back in future, for sure ;)

  • Kubson4 you're more than welcome to come again :)

  • MALTA !!!!

  • Malta is 1 of the most brave and selfless countries around the world. Although it was partly the British Army's fault we were suffering that much in World War 2, we kept our heads up, struggled, blamed nobody for it, and pushed on till the end of the war.

We earned the George Cross by merit, not by default. And although we are a small nation, we a united nation.

    Viva Malta!!!!!!

  • @peck305 too true, im proud to be maltese.great history for a people who truly know of the words perseverance, honour and strength.

  • @peck305

Lol Agreed, but it wasn't the British Army's fault we suffered

If it weren't for them, we'd be under Italian rule.

And after all, WE wanted the British to protect Malta. Remember 1798?

  • @BlackPanteraSociety

correct but it wanst the italians it was the french

  • @123reedemmer

In 1798 yes, but if we didn't want the British protecting us in the time after, we should've asked for independence earlier

  • @BlackPanteraSociety: li ijad tajd int huwa veru sa certu punt, imma l-istorja ma tistax tikkwota b'dan il-mod. Il-fatti huma li Malta inghatat f'idejn l-inglizi fit-tieni trattat ta' Parigi(1814) u mhux b'ghazla diretta tal-Maltin, barra minn hekk il-Maltin matul is-seklu 19 u s-seklu 20 ghamlu sensila ta' talbiet li kinu juru xewqa ta' xi forma ta' Indipendenza (famuzi fosthom George Mitrovich u Camillo Sciberras).

  • @peck305

Viva Malta alavolja zghar ahna poplu dinji u vera bsahhtu

  • @peck305 Most idiotic comment. It's a known fact that neutral countries in WW2 wer occupied by the Germans. Had we been under Italian or German occupation it would have been worse. We would still be occupied by a foreign power, and on top of that we would have been bombed by the RAF.

  • @peck305 So true proud to be maltese(but kinda shamed not to speak the language anymore)

  • @peck305 lol kburi/ja daqsekk li int malti/ja u titkellem blinglizz ?? lool ee gifirii :)

  • I`m Maltese!!! GO MALTA!!!!

  • I think the Maltese flag has St. George's Cross because in World War 2,the British awarded the medals to the Maltese people for their suffering. I think that's why the George's Cross is on the Top-left-hand corner of the Maltese Flag.

  • yeah, because of the suffering.

  • I love Malta shes such a beautifull country and the people of malta are so warm and kind GOD BLESS MALTA

AND A BIG HELLO FROM ENGLAND

  • penisstuckonglue thx mate and we love the british ;)
