  • did anyone else want to kill telly and casper at the end?

  • Rip casper

  • Today they´re all druged complaining about mexicans...

  • whats the name of the song playing in this trailer?

  • And no it is a very good movie you must not understand it. It's no as random and mindless as it seems it really has awesome meaning.

  • Everyone always wants to know the name of the first song. Haha

  • This is Larry Clark's best known film, but not his best, in my opinion. Check out Bully if you liked Kids.

  • This movie was the shit! it PERFECTLY pictured a massive portion of teens in the inner city of the 1990s. Besides the carelessness, STDs, and violence, i actually wish teens today in 2012 were still the same. Back then you still had the warning signs and technology to keep u from it, but teens actuallly went out all night and day just learning and experimenting, it may not sound like such a good thing, but when i look at this and look back, Teens were actual TEENS. I can only wish itwas the same

  • @GeekedUpOffThemBars its the same with REAL people. i have yet to meet a REAL person, ever

  • @JMort95 I COMPLETLY AGREE well said...

  • thanks

  • THIS WAS SUCH A STUPID MOVIE!!

  • whats the name of the first song played

  • @kidcolt45 Spoiled- Folk Implosion.

  • CHECK OUT MY PAGE, I POSTED THE FULL MOVIE.

  • Chloe Savigny brought me here!

  • Mac Miller brought me here!

  • whats the name of the songs?

  • @Kuato19 spoiled by sebadoh in the beginning and end and daddy never understood by folk implosion

  • Eminem and Dr Dre sent me here

  • DADDy never understood

  • I remember watching this when I was like 10 and I was about to throw up. I was out of my comfort zone. Then I watched it when I grew older and I realized i learned alot from this movie. I love this movie now, thumbs up! And I love the lifestyle back then,

  • Wale brought me here, He's just tryna be "Legendary"

  • Thumbs up if Mac Miller brought you here!

  • 'MOSTDOPE!

  • Honestly didnt get anything from that trailer ??

  • what is the name of the first theme that sounds acoustic anyone know the name of the song

  • @Pacobastards1 Spoiled by Folk Implosion i think. sorry if im wrong

  • Shit like this was crazy back then, it was like a cultural lifestyle

  • funny how shit like this happened in New York city back then, cause the kids at my Bronx neighborhood wouldn't dare do the shit these kids did

  • mclovin

  • sounds creepy

  • this movie rocks!

  • I FUCKING LOVED THIS MOVE

  • doesn't Casper kinda look like Sid Vicious?

  • @IconicPlaYa It's Sebadoh, Spoiled.

  • I personally learned a lot from this movie every teenager should watch this movie

  • LoL this is what happens to everyone who doesn't go to college after high school just not the whole aids, hiv thing ,but the smoking pot with friends and drugs and at the end your like holy shit !I did that with my 2 years xD

  • Rest In Peace Casper and Harold. Casper's real name is Justin Pierce. Harold's real name is Harold Hunter. J.P. committed suicide and Harold overdosed on drugs.

I think it's real sad, because I watched this movie over a hundred times since I was 12 years old. I'm 29 and today I wanted to read about the cast, but all I got was bad news.

The best actors in the movie died. R.I.P. My Brothers

  • @theforceq your a idiot

  • @Krowsnose Oh and I forgot about Rosario Dawson and Chloe.

  • @theforceq At least Leo Fitzpatrick has had a pretty successful career. Basically all these kids lived this life. They were the true street rats of NYC.

  • @Krowsnose at least two of those actresses have had even more successful careers than that guy. i dunno why either of you are acting like everyone in this movie was as fucked up as their characters and went nowhere

  • @nickypeeps Because that's how it was for at least 90% of them. I think you're referring to Rosario Dawson and Chloe Sevigny. I mentioned them earlier. The rest are probably broke as shit and living in the parks of New York.

  • @Krowsnose jeff, the guy that pissed new to casper is a zoo york skater.

  • @Krowsnose well, most of them were shitty actors. i couldn't believe how hideous the dialog was between the two kids walking down the street at the beginning was, and that included the one you singled out as being successful. after seeing it, the hype this movie had gotten over the years is shocking

  • @Krowsnose i wouldnt call it sucessful however he has had work here and there....

  • This movie freaked me the fuck out. Brilliant

  • can anyone pleasee tell me the name of the song at the beginning please its urgent

  • @IconicPlaYa Folk Implosion - Spoiled

  • @theforceq thanks

  • thanks

  • One of the most realistic movies I have ever seen. Im glad that even though very few, such realistic films exist around just to remind us of the reality and warn us and open our eyes. We need more films like that. Maybe one or two scenes seemed too much to be true but even they happen, not just in 90s but also today and in the future. It's an all time movie, IMO, it contains many generations. And the ppl who hated on it are prolly ignorants who can't accept the reality.

  • this movie describes my teen years lol

  • @goirish200

So you had a lot of sex and ended up with AIDS?

    Sucks to be you.

  • @HostageKiller haha i was implying the drugs and fighting mostly but that works too ;p

  • why did they name the movie "Kids"? the only KIDS in this movie were the 12 yr old girls that lost their virginity and a couple of other kids, they should of called it like TEENS or something

  • @sevrdx Because adults refer teens as kids still until theyre 18

  • @Reapinangel91 is it a free site?

  • Watch the movie at: mobilevids . org

    Obviously no spaces.

It's for mobile devices, you can use mymedia app or try an go to mobile site on comp to watch, it's also got streams for mobile (mainly iPod, iPhone, iPad is what the site is for).

  • In my opinion, Larry Clark's and Harmony Korine's best film collaboratively and individually.

  • All the elements were there, but they didn't seem to come together. I never much cared for any of the characters. There wasn't an person to root for in the entire movie. Just because you make a movie using a hand camera and have a lot of swearing, drugs, booze and sex doesn't mean it's all going to work. Something went wrong here.

  • @surfer53 it's not supposed to go right. and dude any regular person feels sympathy for jenny, she got aids from telly the human douche, and on top of all that at the end casper has sex with her while she's passed out.

  • @WowzaBoyz spoiler alert lol

  • @mfemine2 well come on lol if you havent seen it by now you're not gonna

  • casper was so cute

  • RAD Newcastle

  • where can i watch this on the internet?? i wanna see it soo badly

  • this movie was too exaggerated for my taste my life was no where near this intense i never killed black guys or got aids hahaha but the drug use its true alot of kids my age where getting fucked up

  • wots the 2nd song, i've been trying to find out for years!

  • where can i watch the entire movie???

  • @Elenikaaaaay type kids 1995 part 1 in the search bar, amazing film

  • whats the biggening song?

  • @mapleleafspride spioled by sebodath

  • @mapleleafspride Folk Implosion - Spoiled

  • Mac Miller

  • @SenaZumrutcu Fuck Mac MiLLER..

  • This is not only in the US, we have it in Mexico too

  • "realistic" its a large exaggeration of normal teenage life

  • @ALIEN2oo

i agree, haha. casper was drinking 40s from since he first woke up till he crashed in the bathtub. I dont know many teens that do that haha. But as far as the behavior and mind set, its pretty damn accurate (maybe not when it comes to hitting black guys in the head with a skateboard, but you get it :P)

  • I saw this Indie film when it was first released. Intense, disturbing & art to the extreme. Also a first for both Chloe Sevigny & Rosario Dawson-whom are both now major actresses. It's definitely an incredible watch, but not for the weak of heart. Brilliant & Heartbreaking...

  • Most of the Junkies in this movie are dead from either drugs or suicide. So they are really the same trash as pictured in the movie. Human wastebags, Not worth even looking at or talking to.

  • Whats the song?

  • @navguitar34 folk implosion-daddy never understood

  • BEFORE SKINS EVER EVEN CAME OUT THIS WAS IT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @RayShardC16 this is nothing like gay ass skin the fuck?

  • @DeaflyBlind he's talking about the british skins (the original) not that bullshit american one. very big difference

  • fuckin love this movie

  • wassup haters

  • i 1st sin this film bk bout 01/02 an man ive sin it that many times now the film is just class real live stuff just wot they get up 2 in new york , but its a shame how sum of them av died in real live at a young age r.i.p to them

  • I didn't like this movie....too much...

  • this is soo much better than...twilight

  • does anyone know the link to the couch scene at 0:15?

  • @Nopartyforme82 What the hell is wrong with you?

  • @Nopartyforme82 dude, are u take some drugs or what?

  • @Nopartyforme82 Too bad (to you) that hiv and those other 'diseases' are no longer the death sentence like they were back in the 80's & 90's. There are too many new modest treatments and antiretrovirus drugs that prevent them from killing that kind of "trash." Kids may not be the movie that appeals to you, but it does to me.

  • do you happen to have disdigg

  • she had HIV which means you can still survive if you get medicine and shit plus it takes 6 months to really do something

  • back when kids wore baggy pants

  • Maybe this is a realistic impression of kids who are poor, and underprivleged, have emotional problems, live in ghetto and so on. (sorry if offended anyone" But most "normal" kids who grew up in the suburbs aren't this intense and this movie probably gave some parents the wrong idea.

  • @OHemGitsANNiEE wat r u sayin i live in the burbs outside Toronto and shits crazy we smoke blunts in the park man iv been to parties were shit gets fucked up and everybody fights and gets drunk as fuck and it white kids, black kids, latino kids, asian kids so on man we all learn to live together but also abide by the rules of the streets and if you dont we'll stomp ya ass out like they did to tht nigga word is bond

  • @arealcrazygangster toronto is the lamest piece of shit city ever

  • @petrolhead1845598 LOL yea alright what ever you faggot ass pussy ass troll suck my dick mutha fucka

  • @arealcrazygangster

he's right toronto is lame as fuck kids there think drinking non-alcoholic beer and playing checkers is "crazy"....so sad.

  • @CheechMarin4TW i dunno....i think Toronto's pretty badass....but i'm not gonna go on like that guy. U ever been?

  • @OHemGitsANNiEE : I grew up with stuff like this happening all the time. I'm from a middle class suburb and we took ecstasy, smoked heroin, got in to fights, got drunk most nights, vandalised. I don't think I'm that person any more. Either are all those people I hung out with. But.. put us all together..growing up..hormones etc and you have a potential nightmare and some of it was.

  • @OHemGitsANNiEE

    Well not really as "intense."

Though I am a teenager in the suburbs and I have lived in north shore chicago suburbs my whole life, A LOT of the stuff that happens in this movie is normal behavior in my high school. If you want me to go more in depth I can.

  • This movie portrays your average New York City kids...

  • @blubberrry this movie potrays kids you would find in any country

  • I'm never going to be like that. I don't care what other people think about me. I'm amazing and I know it!

  • I saw this movie when I was 13.

Everyone got really excited about it because it reflected our lifestyle in a more extreme way. When you are young you just want to try things out and not worry about anything. You dont know what to do with yourself and put the your energy into the wrong things. You hang around in the streets, you identify with hip hop, you write graffi, you steel and do drugs. Some do violence and other crime. Some manage to get out of this.

  • ................................some people never do. Some of the

people I had these times with studied, even became dr.´s and have a healthy family life. Some other still sell drugs or do time even for murder.

This movie is a part of my childhood.

  • 15 years later it would be interesting to see where these "Kids" are now. I know some of them died allready from substence abuse

  • @Kjalli not to mentrion probably STD's

  • @Kjalli Not to mention STD's

this is the best movie i've seen about

    stupidity if kids

  • @Kjalli i know harold hunter OD'd on coke a while ago, hes got a day dedicated to him

  • i havent seen "kids" but as soon as i heard about it, i wanted to watch it. this shit is real.. people who think it sucks r the people who dont wanna admit shit like this goes down every day. damn, i just keep thinking back to health class.. if they want kids to pay attention and actually listen they should show this, not fuckin "am i normal"

  • telly looks a lot like mclovin

  • What's the second song that plays in this trailer?

  • damm this movie reminds me of my life like exacly lol sept the diseases nd shit g shit

  • in my opinion, the most fucked up thing about this movie is that it happens in real life and im saying this by own experience. This movie IS disturbing but it is the cruel reality teens are stupidlly playing around with. Hopefully this opens the eyes of many....

  • disturbing movie, incredible soundtrack

  • @thebigrene1972 if you dont like the movie or the 90's why are you watching the trailer to it? You should go back home to you mums basement and watch your prehistoric movies that you like

  • Leo Fitzpatrick is kinda hot in that movie. I mean, I know he may look like a loser and of course he''s a dickhead, rubbish as Telly, but he's kinda hot. And certainly, the fact he spreads AIDS without knowing it... but still.

  • God I love this movie it was so beautifull. I'm a teen, and I think people really miss the message. It's very optimistic.

  • @skulldrix I don't see optimism in this film at all. But if you see it okay...

  • this movie taught me how to roll a blunt in like 5 minutes haha

  • I have jacked off to all the sex scenes.

  • BULLY 2001 was better

  • This movie is great, a little sad, BUT GREAT! WHats the 2nd song called?

  • @Fly0nLittleWing It's "Daddy Never Understood - Deluxx Folk Implosion"

  • Next 3 to 5 years I see a remake!!

  • @fckhype definately and they should use shiloh la-bitch as telly, hahah

  • This is the real Gossip Girl.

  • watch new jersey drive very good !!

  • @Adroitstreets it really was

  • hey,

does anyone know the song that is played when telly an casper buy dope ?

  • HEY does anyone know of another movie like this kinda teenager drug kind of shit SOMEONE COMMENT

  • @samster53 wassup rockers, it was made by the same director, pretty good movie =]

  • @lildude80666 thanks man

  • i dont care what anyone says this is one of my all time favorite movies. its the most realistic depiction of teenagers ever portrayed in film whether u want it to be or not.

  • @Pozos88 DEFINITLY! (;

  • @Pozos88 You're so right. The reason parents hated it was because they didn't want to believe that their kids were like that.

  • @Pozos88 true m8 film is class

  • @Pozos88 true

  • @Pozos88 it is a realistic depiction of a skater drugie gangs in new york , youre right,

  • @Pozos88 I would say that depends on what type of kid you are. Let's face it, just about alt teen movies are based on high school white kids doing drugs, getting pussy and working out friendships.

  • @JimmyJones

yeh most kids I know sit and play COD or on facebook these days lmao...Maybe thats just us?

  • @jamk777 Sure. There's always your squares who don't go out. There were those back then too, two words: Sega Genesis.

  • this movie is weird what is this movie about anyways

  • @castellanossaidy It's kind of like a scripted reality movie. It features like 20 kids, between 11-18 years old, having unprotected sex, doing drugs, drinking, contracting AIDS and being promiscuous. It was pretty realistic to what was happening in 1995, so I can't imagine what it would look like if made today.

  • @castellanossaidy You call it weird, but yet you don't even know what it's about? wow you sure are smart.

  • "Its me.... Casper" haha best part

  • Plz Plz Anyone know the name of the song in the start of this clip??

  • @goodtimes010 sebadoh- spoiled

  • how can i see this movie??

  • @frankster262 maybe itunes bro thats how i saw it

  • @xJOSHUAx15 i already saw it but thnx anyway

  • The 90s was a turbulent time, life was like this for many inner city kids. I know because my lifestyle mirrored a lot of what happened in the film. Drugs, Aids, Violence, Apathy. It is still around, but generation x was defined by these things.

  • This movies dope, Anyone know what the song is at the start?

  • @UKSaamuel bouncing souls
