You are right the Bible did not give us the date of Jesus birth. Some researchers believe it was sometime in Oct. Christians decided to celebrate it in December - to have a Christian celebration - an alternative to the pagan celebration that others were celebrating at the time. An now December 25 has become know more for the birth of Christ - than the former pagan celebrations. a time of good cheer. A time to celebrate the wonderous birth of Christ - a free gift for all who will accept Him.
