  • absolutly lovely!

  • your'e awesome!

  • yeah after 1 year, I'd ditch it!

  • I heard a great tip use 2 different types of mascara! And it works! Apparently its something to do with the formulas 'sitting on top' of each other making the lashes look thicker rather than layers of the same product 'merging' together. I normally use a mascara designed to give volume with a lengthening one on top :) also put Vaseline on your lashes at night to condition them :) Great tips btw just found your channel and loving the videos :) x

  • I have huge, volumized, long lashes already and their kind of a bother. They get in the way and it always looks like im wearing false lashes /:

  • This was really helpful! :) BTW you are beautiful Hun.

  • I just found your channel and I just think you are a doll! So pretty, so pleasant, so fun to watch :) Great tips; I foul up my mascara ALL the time!! I need to get the MAC eyelash curler too! I have a Shu and an Elf and they are both ok, but I feel like they are too big. The MAC one may be just right! FYI, isn't the search for the perfect mascara neverending? Kinda like the search for the perfect handbag? Hahahaha!! <3

  • so helpful thx!

  • Savy was a Jack Sparrow quote wasn't it? heheehhe! I love Johnny Depp(:

  • "savy?" LOL XD

  • You're gorgeous!! Wow... Unrealized how I can improve and change, thank you! :D

  • My lower lashes are extremely long, so what I do is put on my top mascara, then close my eyes for 5-8 seconds, and there will be mascara on my bottom lashes, just enough for you to see it, but not enough to make me look like a clown.

  • you have the most interesting and exciting style ever!

  • Since my lower lashes are long; they look funny with dark mascara on them. My favorite thing to do is use clear mascara on them after I've applied my lower liner. The liner mixes just a bit with the clear. It adds just enough color and length without giving me the spider lash effect.

  • my #1 mascara tip is to NEVER PUMP! When you need more mascara put the brush in & twirl then remove. Pumping creates far too many air bubbles that cause perfect places for bacteria to grow & for it to dry out.

ps- stumbled upon your page last night after a Nikkie Tutorial vid where she mentioned you & i've fallen in LOVE. keep it up gorgeous. =] <3

  • I love your eye shadow!! It looks soooo cool.

  • Oh my goodness! I thought I was the only "wiggler" ;) Haha! You're beautiful and thank you for this video! Very helpful :)

  • Do i have to throw uot mascara that ive used a few times only?? I do dance and for competition i use EXTREMELY expencive mascara and competition is 6 days a year!! Ive had it for a year

  • @ILoveSyncro11 that would be a judgment call. Does it smell weird? I'd probably chuck it after a year, but not every 3 months as I mentioned in this video.

  • Great video. An excellent eye make up remover I live by is Dermalogica: Gentle Soothing Eye Make Up Remover. Its gentle on the eyes and very fast acting! =)

  • Urr really pretty

  • I LOVE your hair! LOVE IT!!!!

  • I don't know how I came across your video but I sooooo freakin love your hair !!!!!

  • Haha I pinch my mascara off my bottom lid to even the length, I really didn't think anyone else did it! Awesome video hun!

  • Awesome personality you have!! :DDD LOVE IT!

  • Another tip my friend taught me (shes a makeup artist as well) is before you do it, dab the end of the wand and wipe some mascara off on your hand before doing it, its a little wastful, but it gets rid of excess mascara on the wand and prevents clumping :)

  • What are your favorite mascaras?

  • Baby shampoo or Purpose soap is great for removing eye makeup. Gentle and doesn't tug at all.

  • Used a couple of 'tubing' mascara and found it flakes as they day went on, pretty bad. :(

  • My major tip that I feel like nobody knows is to use a highlighter wand to brush out clumps! (same idea as the mascara you showed)

  • YOU ROCK! I love your look. You look GREEEEAT! wow!

  • I just found ur videos and I've been watching all night. Your tuts are awesome, ur hair is gorgeous, and omg!!!!! Your personality..... LUVVV YOUUUU!!!!!! #NEWSUBBIE!!! :-)

  • Do u have a tut on this eyeshadow look?

  • finish amazing makeup, apply mascara, immediately sneeze. broken dreams.

  • I'm loving your hair longer. :)

  • Awesome tips :D these are really helping. By the way my favorite mascara is a purple fiberized lash weave by Hard Candy,it is amazing :P

  • I love your friggin eye shadow in this.

  • love the way how the color mixes in your hairr!

  • real review on it. I just bought the Kat Von D set at sephora right now w/ the true love palette and would love to c some ideas if you have it. I know you have the sinner but this set you also get 2 primers, a eyeliner and lipstick for 54. Also have to tried any Victoria Sec?I've heard it's improved. Thank you soo much for your videos, I'm really enjoying them.Anything u can do w/ the Q's will be very appreciated. How much do u charge for lessons?I'm n S.C. and that would be fun.Thx girl xo

  • When I watched yours, the two of you together is the most comfortable I've seen you- that wasn't written right- you bring out the very best in one another. I love seeing a couple so in love! Your rad doll. Keep doing what you do. You should play with some physicians formula eyeshadows. There super pigmented and shimmer. I've had the baked collection-baked oatmeal as a make up staple for yrs and love it! Also have you tried the sodashop todokio(sp). I love the colors on it but I'd like to see a

  • I just starte watching your vids and you are awesome! The do you bottom 1st makes sooo much sense and was very helpful. I just have to say that you and your husband are meant for one another. I've watched a few of the boyfriend/husband tags and a lot of the time the girl acts different around her man- some what shy or just not the same.

  • Love your hair!!!

  • Your hair is fantastic! What products do you use?

  • Tubing mascaras aren't very good for people who have easily irritated eyes, just saying! Love the video :)

  • If I have a perfect mascara that I love and I know it lasts longer than three months I'm just going to keep using it as always; I'm not afraid of germs in my mascara.

  • you're absolutely beautiful honey!

  • I HAVE A QUESTION !

okay , so my mascara it stays at the bottom of the mascara i use covergirl lashblast volume mascara covegirl type, its orange & i bbeen using that one & its my TOTAL FAVORITE!

butt after awhile the mascara tends to stay the bottom of it, & the wand comes out like with out any mascara ! & i dont know what to do! any tips?

i hope you understand mee !

thankss ! & thank you for an awesome mascara tips !

  • @LatinaaGirllll If I'm understanding this right, what I've always done with my mascara is take the wand and swirl it against the sides of the tube(go in circles like 5 times or as many as it takes). If you pull in and out it pushes air into the tube that causes it to dry out faster and cause bacteria. This should help you get the product out. Or it's time to buy a new one. I hope this helps! Take care girl =D

  • @AlThingsBEAUTIFUL thank you do much! it did help!

  • Love ur hair :D

  • i absolutely love love love your hair! what should i ask for cut wise at the salon and how and what colour hair dyes do you use? xxx

  • Love your makeup. ^-^

  • GREAT VIDEO!

As a make up artist I too swear by layering and have tried many products. Maybelline Great Lash (the original) is my favorite. No matter how many products I try I always go back to my Great Lash.

Cover Girl Lash Blast Length is great as a base coat, it really seperates.

Wipe your wand every other use; the left-over dried product causes clumps. It also helps detect when to throw it out. When I start running out of product after 3 months I know it's time to get a new one.

  • i actually like when my bottom lashes look spidery? lol because mine are really long and it just adds to my smokey eye.

  • I put my mascara on before I do my eyeshadow, I am literally the only person on the planet who does that lol I know it's so bizzare but I've done it since I started wearing makeup and can't do it any other way! I also use 2 or 3 different mascaras and layer them....I know, I'm a weirdo :)

  • Wet n wild megalength mascara is absolutely amazing . And it's only 3$

  • omg i just found u and i love u lol ps not gay jajajaj love all ur videos

  • layering!!!, first a base, and than just layering looks really good :)

  • i like the spidery look :D

  • I love your hair and makeup

  • i love your videos so much!! :D if you haven't yet, could you do a video on how to become a makeup artist or something like that? i love love makeup and i would really want to know. thank you!

  • Lol, savy? ;)

    Love thatt.

  • :} great vid btw

  • I have always used vaseline 2 remove my eye makeup. Next say when I apply my mascara my eyes r sooo soft n they separate beautifully!!! This trick I learn from my mom watchin her remove eye make up, she always uses cold cream 2 remove her face make up, which isn't alot or heavy. I my do that. But I always got a kick outta of watchin her get ready n take make up off. :}

  • @vintageortacky if anyone wants to know of a drugstore/hairstore brand of tubing mascare is Kiss New York I-Envy! I use this myself and it is great. Great videos! I love you!

  • I think the only mascara I have never had the "wipe it off when it's dry" technique work for is MAC's Splashproof mascara. It's just harder to get off once it dries imo. Also, I don't know if there is a way to like... un-curl lashes? Because at the ends of my eyes they tend to curl REALLY bad naturally.

  • Good gosh, you're gorgeous by the way!

  • @TheJen2005... me freaking too! Any help Cora?!

  • i want to see a tut of this make up u're wearing... pls!! :D

  • I would love to see a video on colored mascaras! I'm dying to get a blue or purple one, but Idk which one's are good.

  • So amazing! I want to try this. Will upload it to my Obsesh. Check out obsesh.com / profiles / makeup_mania

  • Will you please do an eyeliner tips/tricks video? :)

  • ok I have always had this issue...I curl my lashes, I put my mascara on, then they go flat to where i have to wait for them to dry to re-curl them. Its so annoying. Any suggestions how to fix this problem?

  • great tips! thanx so much. mascara and I always have issues.

  • to make my mascara last, i dip the wand in alcohol and remove the used wand in tissue getting rid of the contaminated product. Also i after im done with one mascara i clean and keep the wand. Like the wands that vibrate and use them with another mascara, makes a real difference. Hope this helps =D

  • I have to tell you... I never thought of waiting until the mascara was dry if you get it on your face! the other day I was doing my make up and I got a big clump of mascara on my nose and waited for it to dry and it literally came right off with no work!!! Thank you sooooo much for the tip!

  • Hi! I love your videos!!!! What do you have on your lips? I love them!!!

  • when i remove mascara ( a lot is hidden in the root ) i get a cotton pad soaked with baby oil and i wiggle horizontally while i look down.. works a dream! an irish guru - themakeupchair gave me the idea to use baby oil, and my lashes have grown about 4 or 5 mm in a week, by her recommendation :) i think its a good tip! <3

  • I simply ♥ youre hair!!!!

  • Ugh! You are so cute and sweet and talented that it makes me sick!

  • Dont pump your mascara wand in and out of the tube, when you do that...youre bringing in air into the mascara tube and it will dry out your mascara quick!

  • @markee871 I still can't believe I forgot this tip!

  • omg i love you& your vids already.

& this is my first time watching your chanel :)

  • Hi! One question about my lashes. A lot of them are falling off and some of them grow in strange directions like to the side or even down. This started happening about 1,5 year ago and it comes and goes in periods. Been having periods of loosing hair also but not as often as i loose lashes. I havent changed to another mascara and I dont think it has anything to do with diet. Can I be allergic to my mascara or can it be hormones? Any idea??? Don´t want to loose all of my lashes =,(

  • @ivemarieworld I tried the Mary Kay makeup remover years ago and that's all I use now. You are so right! it's AMAZING!!!!!!

  • I love the shu umera eyelash curler. it's a little expensive but it's a full eye lash curler that's made for almond shaped eyes /smaller eyes and it's never pinched me. It even gets right into the outer edges and really curls. It also has pads on both the top and bottom of the curler so u don't end up with the L shaped lashes if u press too hard. On the expensive brands of mascara, I like to cut off the brush to keep the top closed and use a pro wand brush to get product. I find my pro brush

  • @Monkeyslipperz Oh pads on both sides- that's fancy!

  • thanks for the tip about the spider lashes. ALL of my bottom lashes are long and it looks scary lol.

  • Wow, thank you for introducing me to the half lash curler. I have an ELF curler and it's just eh. I know some people go gaga over that thing, but it's too big for me and it scares me. I'm definitely going to check out the half lash curler now. You're awesome. I love you. lol

  • @BalmaholicTV thanks babe!

  • Oh, God, I opened the video and as soon as it went to you talking, the first thing I thought was "holy crap, she's gorgeous."

  • @vikkilicious12465 oh wow! thank you

  • I admire you ! You wear colors in a pretty way (: And you're talentful !

  • @AmelieSilverSmurf thanks babe!

  • haute and naughty is my fav tooo!!

  • @ayeenimee786 rock-on!

  • Swirl the mascara in the tube instead of pumping it creates less bacteria in the bottle because your not pumping the air into the mascara which also dries it out faster.

And I think I was reading in Cosmo that if you put you mascara into boiling water for a few seconds it kills the bacteria as well...

  • @retropopsong3 I can't believe I forgot the no-pumping rule!

  • I usually wipe my eyelash brush on a clean tissue before applying to eyes to help cut back on clumps and excessive mascara, I also use to different mascaras to make my eyelashes look extremely full. Works great and I skip the falsies.

  • Thank you. U seems to be so funny and nice person :))

  • I LOVE YOU!!!! :D

  • Your hair is SOOO FRIGGIN AWESOME!! + its getting sooo long!

  • Damnit, your vids dont show up in my subs :( Thank godness I decided to go to your channel to watch. Great vid!

  • @MACstarlite12 Dumb youtube! Ah well, you found me (also I usually put new videos up on my Facebook)

  • I've used Telescopic mascara and that mascara is sorta like the Tubing mascaras you described. I didnt like it but removal was super easy (^__^)

  • awesome video, I learned a lot. Good tips, thank you so much.

  • I have the Haute and Naughty mascara but it seems to clump a lot. How do I stop it from clumping?

  • @AngelynGraace Try wiping off the excess mascara :)

  • what is the brand of haircolor your stylist uses i love those colors

  • @nany1223 I have this info on my channel page :)

  • I don't know what lipstick you're wearing in this video but I love it, want it, NEED it! ^_^

Also, thanks for the awesome mascara tips! Do you know of a cheaper version of the half lash curler that you used? Thanks!

  • @martin9592000 Someone mentioned that Elf makes a half-lash curler, but I've never used that one.

  • i like to start with the top lashes cause i dont want as much mascara on the lower lashes as the top ones :)

  • @JuliaDoesMakeup2 that makes sense.

  • I've always done all these tips (except the bottom lashes, first- which I'ma try!). thanks :)

  • I LOVE YOU: LET IT DRY!!!

so many people want to go attack it. i learned that lesson and never heard a guru address this!

  • I didnt even know half eyelash curlers existed. Im definatley going to try finding one!

  • Out of all my youtube subscriptions, I always watch your videos first :)

And btw your lips are totally plush and shapely and gorgeous here <3

  • @laurelin77 Oh thank you thank you!

  • man your hair is soooo shiny!!! what products do you use to keep your hair so healthy with the coloring and all? awesome video!

  • @GinaL514 I just dyed it so that's why It's super shiny. I do have quite a few videos about color care and all the different hair products I use :)

  • Awesome video Cora!!! Thanks for the tips!! LOVE it!

  • i have really big lashes, inner corners esspecialy. so it looks really funny when i apply mascara on all of my lashes. i have to use it only on outer corners. i dont know if that is good or not. but this video helped

  • @SUPERGIRL94wow If you only need a little that's awesome!

  • MARY KAY MAKEUP REMOVER IS AAAHHHHHMAZING!!! AND LESS THAN 20 BUCKS! TRY IT

  • i use pond's cold cream to remove my eye makeup. sensitive to the eye and it also acts as a moisturizer for my skin and lashes :)

  • @tsaiyana me too, I love it! Another awesome video, keep doin your thing girl! I love watching everything you do :D

  • I WANT YOUR FACE. I have freckles. Ive always wanted just a plain white face. Lololol, sorry :P

  • @Chrissy10Belle Lol. I have freckles dude!

  • Savvy? hehe I love you for that comment.

  • Hey are you using a different blue (violet) hair dye at the front of your head? looks super vibrant to me or is it just freshly dyed? :)

  • @KellyJelly9976 Both freshly dyed and it's Pravana Violet now :) the pink is the same

  • most mascara's have that little thing on the side that says they are good for six months, not 3... at least the 3 I have... I know people who have mascara for years and even though it kinda grosses me out, they aren't having issues with it, it still works well, not dry, not clumpy, no eye infections, no lashes falling out, no funny smell, no color change... I don't see why people say 3 months... I don't use mine NEARLY enough to get a new one every 3 months...

  • @MattysLilMello I think the rule of 3 is a precautionary thing. I think of it like tossing your toothbrush. Whatever works for you dude :)

  • lash curl: I use a regular one, I find curling in sections helps to not pinch, by turning the curler inwards I curl the inner lashes very well while curling the tips of the center lashes, then do the outer lashes, and even it out by then doing the middle lashes, trying to get them all in this time.

bottom lashes: I do these after curling my top lashes before applying the top mascara and brush through them with an eyebrow brush.

booboos: Taking a cue tip and twisting it over the mistake works!:D

  • @DogLoverGSC great tips, thank you!

  • OMG I LOVE YOUR HAIR! i wish i could pull it off

  • A HALF lash curler....WHHHAAAATTTT! That's so cool! I need one

  • cora I love your eyes girl please ddo the tutorial ok thanks. you ara ameizing.

  • i spray my mascara wand with alcohol and peroxide

  • This is going to sound kind of...crazy, but I use baby oil to remove my make up. I don't have to rub rub rub rub. I wash my hands like crazy before I remove my make up, then I put some baby oil on my ring finger, then do a few swipes, basically like you're putting on your eyeshadow base, then I wipe it away with a cotton pad or a wash cloth, then wash my face with my cleanser. I don't have oily skin, and I think anyone with oily skin shouldn't use this method, because baby oil is..oil. Lol

  • @AndroidFlowers you might want to try Olive oil-it's easier on the earth and it's better for your skin :)

  • ohh a half lash curler. interesting. i think i need that

  • @beccala1985 Check it out!

  • I have really long lashes and wear glasses so some times if I dont curl my lashes they touch my lenses and bug me. I have also noticed that since I dont wear make up a whole lot I still need mascara some times just to curl my lashes so they dont bug my glasses. I dont even have to do it very often but it lasts a LONG time. I have heard about "pumping" where you put to much air into the tube is that bad or does it not really matter?

  • @arowolf09 Pumping is bad- it puts air in the tube. I can't believe I forgot that!

  • I have really long lashes and wear glasses so some times if I dont curl my lashes they touch my lenses and bug me. I have also noticed that since I dont wear make up a whole lot I still need mascara some times just to curl my lashes so they dont bug my glasses. • you look so happy and gorgeous in this video! not that you aren't in your other ones, but i noticed it specifically in this one. ^^

  • @Mirte95 thanks dude!

  • Oh Cora... you are amazing and beautiful and I'm addicted to your vids. You are probably the most down to earth and awesome guru on youtube because you cater to low end and high end makeup users. I heart you, you are definately a chick I would get along with. Never stop the artwork

  • @MoonBunny2601 Thanks babe! I really do love a wide variety of stuffies!

  • What an amazing personality and positive energy you have! You are a good, talented soul:)) xoxox love your work!!! Greetings from LA!

  • @Violetartistry wow, thanks dude!

  • you are beautiful. I love your hair OMG! Thanks for the video and the tips!

  • am i the only one that gets through doing a whole face of makeup just fine and as soon as i put mascara on all of a sudden i have to sneeze while its still wet?! ahhh such a mess!! lol

  • @rosiemflee happens to me all the time! Seriously annoying!

  • I love your eyeshadow look!

  • I was sitting here staring at your hair. In a space case kind of way, not a creepy way. Your hair absolutely reminds me of Twilight Sparkle.

  • I think the makeup you're wearing RIGHT NOW is my favorite. Especially that lip color. What the hell is that? It's so pretty!

  • Ew..yeah last curlers....I've somehow opened my eye enough with the last curler to make my contact pop out. You just have to practice with the lash curler to know where to put it. Fun times.

  • Oh, question. My lashes, especially at the outer corners, naturally curl back really far towards my lids. How would I go about UNcurling them?

  • Your hairrrr, I want it! So gorgeous.

  • Olive oil works as an amazing eye makeup remover. It gets off the makeup and conditions the skin and lashes. Great video(:

  • Almay Pads are excellent for all kinds of mascara!!! And they are CF & cheaper ;)

  • I learned a lot :)

  • Ive never heard you refer to benefit cosmetics.. Have you ever used it? If so, whats your opinion?? :)

  • Wow, you're inspiring.

  • you forgot to montion to ALWAYS do mascara AFTER eyeshadow! i hate when i see girls that have done there mascara first and when they blink their eye look is all over the top lashes!!!! sooo annoying! all my girl friends now know better but i see this everywhere and i cant stand it!!!!

  • my hair looks like yours. it was an accident, it was supposed to be midnight blue :(

  • I take a translucent (well any powder works but I like a loose, fine translucent) powder and apply it to my eyelashes with a brow brush, like just put on a bunch of powder, then use a clean spooli to brush out the lashes a bit. Then I put mascara over it. Basically it creates a thicker paste with your mascara and volumises, and gives something for the mascara to stick to so it stays on longer without flaking. It works so well for me. <3

  • I use a black mascara for my top lashes and a brown for the lower. It looks softer and a bit more natural, on me anyway..

  • Thank you for listing some tubing mascaras but how do i know if another is a tubing mascara? does it typically say it on the packaging or is it an ingredient?

  • Haha! "But for the rest of us..." 7:36
