@juancor1000 Dont be mad cause your car ridiculed on a dedicated b15 forum LOL. Fucking wetback get back over the border. Oh that why your bitch as disabled all comments ROFL piece of shit pussy. Oh im sorry no said the same over your riced out car ROFL. Hey bitch dont be mad that you got slow 1.8 with stickers ROFL ROFL
My 1.8 has a similar setup....sounds the same...and guess what dude....it's rice. Just admit it. Doesn't matter if it's a full exhaust. It's a 1.8 Liter 4-cylinder engine with a loud ass exhaust..that means rice.
@18Caliber that's incorrect, e30 m3 doesn't sound like rice and it is a 4 cylinder. There are a lot of 4 cylinder cars that don't sound like rice, but when you throw a fart cannon on a Nissan sentra, you get rice.
did you have any problems with the header matching up with the o2 sensors underneath? because i bought a DnA motoring header from ebay and the damn thing didnt come with the o2 sensors underneath :(
where can i get a exhaust pipe like this im only sixteen and im tryna "pimp" my ride lmao so u think i can find something like this at an Advanced Auto Parts store or what?
Hey that's nice man. I got the same style 4-2-1 header couple years back, but I removed it late last year. Anyway I had it setup like you, but with a Magnaflow hi-flow cat, 12" resonator and 2.25" catback. and Flowmaster muffler. Unfortunately it went back to being as it was before the resonator, loud, droned, and annoying. Anyway, did you need the resonator for the drone or just to tone it down some? I had lots of drone before that 12" resonator I put in but it still needs something longer.
Yes.. there is a cat on the stock exhaust manifold, and one on the midpipe as well. I cut the stock cat off the stock midpipe and then welded it onto the after market 4-2-1 header midpipe.
@circaskater531 Oh and I forget, did you r car throw a CEL light or not? Because of the header my car always had the CEL light, even though I wired the second O2 sensor AFTER the one main cat (to clean up the exhaust...or so I thought it would work) but it didnt do it.
If you get a header make sure you put a bunch of resonators on it or it will be very raspy. If you keep the stock exhaust manifold then any exhaust will sound good on it.
what do you usually do when an se-r rolls up on you i know that thing has to be slow as shit compared to one of those

Did you fit the OBX evo2 catback on your 1.8 with no mods? b/c isn't for spec-v's? or do spec-v's catbacks fit 1.8?

Didn't know what I know now. This car is fine for daily driving.. plus I don't have to worry about the precat issues with the QR25 ;)
I actually haven't had this exhaust setup for a while now.. I need to do an update.

how did you get the stock cats welded onto the 4-2-1 headers?
stratusedge2k7 2 years ago
i cut it off the stock midpipe and welded it onto the aftermarket one
circaskater531 2 years ago
isn't there another cat just after the header in the engine bay that is hooked up to the O2 sensor as well?
stratusedge2k7 2 years ago
Yes.. there is a cat on the stock exhaust manifold, and one on the midpipe as well. I cut the stock cat off the stock midpipe and then welded it onto the after market 4-2-1 header midpipe.

Slovflyer 2 years ago
I've had a ses light ever since I put it on.. but thats just because I never got another o2 bung welded onto the midpipe.
circaskater531 2 years ago
I thought that would cause the engine to run richer, but I never really noticed any drop in mpg. Hmm.
