Bodom is melodic death metal, that's why they win. I listened to this version and didn't even make it through it. Granted, opinion is just opinion, I still don't like this version, but that's just me. No reason to get pissy (so as a result, I'm not going to argue with you on who is a better band/songwriter).

The song IS more important, the quality of the song and to be honest Bodom havn't written anything to equal the likes of WASP, Judas Priest or Maiden.. Thats why these bands are legendary and will be remembered throughout time.. That being said opinion is opinion... But I think if you are a metal head you need to know the roots...

I listen to black, death, thrash, speed, doom, power, grind, and traditional metal and still no album compares to the first W.A.S.P. album in terms of attitude and it's dangerous, wild spirit. They're the real deal and they shit all over any of the lame poser metal bullshit that's been trending over the years. This is not to say the other W.A.S.P. albums aren't good, in fact my favorite happens to be The Crimson Idol but if you don't own the first W.A.S.P. album then you ain't metal!
