@cool6T9 actually theres a pocket underneath the barrels storing the ammo. The double barrel is just so it fires 2 bursts of slugs each time. It needs pump action to load the slugs from the ammo holder underneath. The people who made scout (Valve) probably just wanted scout to have a greatly overpowered weapon but make most of his other skills terrible.

Here's what I noticed after watching a few montages. 1. Avoid jump shooting. 2. Use your movement to aid your aim and shoot with timing. (Great dodge & shoot combo.) 3. Stay a considerable distance where aim and damage are both beneficial. (Especially against other scouts.) 4. Up close, circle strafing can prove useful with a repeated cycle of clockwise/counter clockwise movements. (Not for heavies. Superb against demomen.) 5. Flank. Hope that helped guys.

@bubrockit you get better with practice, hopefully your playing it on steam if so create your own server play on maps Koth_Sawmill Koth_Vaiduct and Koth_Nucleus, click the advance control settings and check off the box that says allow console then press this button` ya know the one with the squiggle line ~ then a window will open up type in tf_bot_add and the # of bots you want to play then send. The AI for the bots play at a casual level so you can pick up and find your niche. hope that helps!

When I play medic I do try to heal every body ya know share the love but for scouts with me it's very difficult to catch them for a moment to heal them considering there very vigity and jump around alot I can't keep up, also the reason I don't do soldiers becuase they find license to rocket jump everywhere if you do.

I recently found out that you can pretty much kill an unbuffed heavy in bonk-time before they can spin up their gun with a FoN clip and a couple bat swings.... its pretty awsome to kill a heavy in like 2 seconds...lol
