yes this is first gear. i wish i would have taken videos of other tractors competing against me. every other tractor in this class stalled/lost power and i just plowed right through them, out pulling every one of them.. lol. our 830 has very low hours on the engine and runs like a top, and it seems like our 830 is the one with a 1st "creeper" gear installed in it... you could literally never stall the engine on ours..
