On #3 the rock and the tree balance well imo. I liked the way the rock flows with the tree on #2 also but, for me the rock almost distracts too much away from the tree. At least from angle of the still photos at the end of your video. I would have to say I'd go with #3 from my house. ;-) Beautiful tree no matter what it goes in!
I like #2 or #3 - depending on how you want it displayed. It would look great with either, I think. I like the hole in #3, as it seems to evoke the idea of a cave or something, giving the impression that the tree really is hanging onto a rock on a cliff, its cascading form seeming to search for some better purchase it will not find!
Great project, JG. Thanks for asking for our input.
I say, go extreme. The one that gives you the most trouble and hardship usually wins in the end. This is because it's original and possibly controversial to others. Art that pushes the envelope is usually the greatest work.
1st stone is the safest and least original but looks good. The 3rd one is very unique and the risky approach since it may only appeal to certain eyes.
I like 3 the best, it brings balance to both the rock and the tree. Of course with any overhanging tree it does limit where you can place it. But it would look great.
1: good size, nice color, but maybe not the most interesting one. How does it look from the other side?
2: much to small for the tree, even with the rootball greatly reduced.
3: very interesting rock, but i think the wall on the right, where you want to bend the right most trunk over, will give you problems when you reduce the rootball. And if you keep the rootball larger to compensate, the left side suffers.
#3.

IMO 1 is too width ,2 is like riding pig 3 is interesting and weird, but it might mess with original composition

Id go with the 3rd one, but turn it on its side at 90*(to where the depression is on top) build a base for it and then it would look great

#3 I like the idea of the right trunk coming around the stone.

Great choices but my worries would be over-wintering.

#3, much prefer the 'wild/chaotic' look. The others look too static. They have to many parallel plains.

option 3 can you make a video where you put it onto the rock?

Id like to see 1 with the rock flipped 180 degrees

My 2 cents

number 3 IMHO looks most interesting. or number 2 but with a front at 3:02 again IMHO makes a more interesting look or flow for rock number 2
