I love this game. And this clip is awesome. I love when Trent shrugs, I can almost imagine him saying, "Well, what the hell?" and Orillion behind him scratching his head and saying, "Uh, probably not the best idea..." There was interest in creating a sequel, but Microsoft was in Xbox Hard-on mode at the time and canceled anything that wasn't potentially marketable on the Xbox.

Freelancer was indeed the best spacesim... Too bad they cancelled freelancer 2... If you really want to play another nice space-sim I'd suggest the X series, X3 or X3 Reunion. Both of them are cool to play. Very time consuming though.

Afraid not, seeing as Digital Anvil folded after making Freelancer, which was a crying shame as it marked the end of an era with the retirement from game making of the Roberts brothers Chris and Erin, makers of the legendary Wing Commander series

@Raafje84 Freelancer was in development for several years, and ended up being bastardized because it was overdue for release (it would've been EVEN MORE AWESOME). Unfortunately, this means that future attempts at a sequel are extremely unlikely - no one wants the risks involved, nowadays, at least no one at Microsoft. Also, the chief developer (Chris Roberts, of Wing Commander fame) has basically abandoned this genre a long time ago.

Don't be lazy, it's a ton of FUN !!

Sorry bro, I am soooo out of that loop now that I wouldn't know, but I can tell you that the possibilities for the game were there initially but Microsoft, who took over production of the game, basically said that their focus was Xbox (at the time) so a game like Freelancer 2 didn't fit into those plans. Long live the First Person Shooter :(

First download the Freelancer Mod Manager (FLMM) then download the mods that interest you. Once that's done, just drag and drop the mod onto the FLMM and then when it's added on the list just select it, click activate and then play the game modded. I suggest you try Shattered Worlds. It's really great.
