I got some nice dvd slip covers from them too. However, it should be said that you need a really good printer and the proper inks for it to come out as good as it did for this video. Using normal inks will sometimes make streaks or faded covers which defeat the purpose.
this is nice. wish more stores did this. only thing is the new cases don't have a memory card space. would be nice if they had it but it's alright i guess. can you buy the ones with memory card space?
I couple of months ago I bought the game MAG from gamestop. I grabbed the case from the shelf it was in good condition. Once i payed for the game, I got to my car and drove home. I took out the game out of the bag, the Cover and the Booklet inside were water damaged. So I was like WTF?! I couldnt do anything cuz I didnt want to drive 30 miles again to tell them WTF is up with the cover and booklet.

@tastelikebutter Most likely he printed it out to size and then cut the printed image down to size using a guillotine cutter (as seen on the video below the DMC3 cover art).
I actually use a website called The Cover Project for covers. They don't have a massive amount but they have some good ones including customs and classic consoles.

When I started building my video game collection (One day I decided to buy games that I always wanted but never bought) all of the cases were like this and I did the exact same thing you do here. I did this for Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2, Gamecube, Wii, and even some PS3 games. Check out some of the european covers, they are even better than the american ones. The main reason for this was that they sold me a Gameboy player for gamecube without the case haha.

reason gamestop sucks, i went to gamestop to buy forza motor sport 2 and to avoid buying the case that had water damage i brought a nice case with good cover to the desk, the lady took it, replaced it under her desk and brought out a version with the gamestop cover and not the original that i had picked, when i asked her why she said because they wanted the better for display purposes. fuck gamestop
i am sure you have done quite a few (lot purchaces) in your business. your last one looked pretty big lol. you should do a vid on some of the real gems( rare or high value) you may have found in them. you could even do a separate vid on some of the items you could never sell in a million yrs lol.

Why are people complaining about it being the original cover? first of all, how could you tell? Second of all, would you rather buy a crappy water-damaged, ruined cover and case or would you rather have something that looks decent?
What about something like a damaged cartridge? Do you know where new, fairly priced, blank carts could be purchased to put a ROM card in and a new sticker label on? (Aside from cheap, stripped old copies of Madden games. lol)

Thats kind of a foolish statement. You cant buy original cases for games that are out of print. Where on earth am I going to find a War of the monsters insert? LOL
when a game comes in with No case or badly damaged case, the best thing to do it print a new cover for it. I could do what gamestop does (Cheap generic case) but I prefer to get it as close to original as possible.
it's the extra step I'm willing to take for my clientele.
It looks great, and I admire the way you take care of the games you receive, but the lack of an actual PS2 case would be a real big turn off for me. I personally wouldn't buy any of your replicas, sorry.

It's a brand new DVD case. I'm sure my customers would much rather have that than the damaged case that came in with the game (or no case for that matter)
As many others have said, I'm sick of buying damaged preowned games at gamestop with HEAVILY damaged cases/art. Keep up the great quality L1Games! :-D

@bendermeister What exactly makes it fake? Because it wasnt printed in the factory that mass produced them? Its just paper with ink on it. Hell I think the high gloss sheet is probably a higher quality paper than the thin glossy sheet they use to mass produce them..
these are the games that the covers are too damaged for resale. I wont put trashed game covers all over my walls. looks terrible and people don't want to buy them. I figure this is a far cry better than using the cheap Generic covers Gamestop uses.

What about something like a damaged cartridge? Do you know where new, fairly priced, blank carts could be purchased to put a ROM card in and a new sticker label on? (Aside from cheap, stripped old copies of Madden games. lol)

Thats kind of a foolish statement. You cant buy original cases for games that are out of print. Where on earth am I going to find a War of the monsters insert? LOL
when a game comes in with No case or badly damaged case, the best thing to do it print a new cover for it. I could do what gamestop does (Cheap generic case) but I prefer to get it as close to original as possible.
it's the extra step I'm willing to take for my clientele.

It looks great, and I admire the way you take care of the games you receive, but the lack of an actual PS2 case would be a real big turn off for me. I personally wouldn't buy any of your replicas, sorry.

It's a brand new DVD case. I'm sure my customers would much rather have that than the damaged case that came in with the game (or no case for that matter)

@bendermeister What exactly makes it fake? Because it wasnt printed in the factory that mass produced them? Its just paper with ink on it. Hell I think the high gloss sheet is probably a higher quality paper than the thin glossy sheet they use to mass produce them..

these are the games that the covers are too damaged for resale. I wont put trashed game covers all over my walls. looks terrible and people don't want to buy them. I figure this is a far cry better than using the cheap Generic covers Gamestop uses.
