Capt Zimmerman made a fatal error here. His assumptuion that he HAD TO dump fuel because he was over max landing weight was incorrect. Maximum landing weights are related to tire and brake assembly warranty periods and have nothing to do with safety. He was in position to land within 5 minutes when he broke off his approach to the south to head back out over the water to accomplish this totally unnecessary task. Terrible training by Swissair.

What caused the fire it's a mystery? They should investigate those who service the Air plains before they take off. Looks like a sinister agent work and concealed package blow apart the plain!!! But why would they do this? Well find out if there was a some high profile passengers that has to be pulled down! (Remember they pull down building # 7 too. Owner said: Well, we felt it was not safe fire was burning in the, so: We pulled it down)

In reality the fire was actully alot worse inside the cockpit then it shows here evidence shows that the overhead panel which sits above the pilots began to melt so theirfore the urs zimmermann the captain had no chance in eliminating the fire with oen extuingsher and with no oxygen to support him breath in that toxic cockpit

It's among common belief around here, where the plane actually crashed (Nova Scotia), that the inside of the plane was an inferno before it actually crashed, I also believe I have heard from locals who assisted in part of the search and rescue efforts that night, that alot of the body parts had be charred.

Probably none. The reconstruction is exaggerated in that it shows a full fire in the cockpit. It is more likely that the fire knocked out the plane's vital systems one by one and made it impossible to keep in the air. They probably knew what was going on
