if not, its a 5g.

I just did this but mine has black behind the song info in the menus and there is no shadow under the album art when in the now playing like yours has. Did you use the 5.5g? I have a 5g

Why don't you switch to the Rockbox Firmware? Apple sucks. Rockbox = no fuckin iTunes, you can play FLAC and OGG, you have Coverflow. You kan have themes.

ok ok for all windows 7 users when you plug in your ipod to your computer, it has to be read as a flash drive so when you plug it in to your computer make it so it doesnt even load up itunes because if it loads up itunes and if you just ex it out it still wont work. you can check to make sure its right by clicking my computer and seeing if your ipod has however much memory available. hope this helps

Yes you can on Mac. But iTunes tells you there is an update for your iPod. If you install it you have your "old look" again. Just ignore this and check the box "Don't ask again" and it will stop reminding you:-)

I don't know, but I'm almost 100% sure you still can use iTunes.

I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work on Windows, as long as your iPod works correct.

Then I would make a "backup" of my iPod first with some kind of a program (or unhide secret folders and do it manually - if you know what you are doing).

If you or the program, which modify your iPod, make an error, you have to open itunes, restore your iPod and sync your music and files again.

I did that mistake once because I forgot to unzip a file.

@lxfarhitxl I know I'm a bit late, but if you ever want to go back to the original firmware, just click on your iPod and hit RESTORE, then go through the steps and when it's done, just sync your iPod again.

when i downloaded ipod wizard and the other thing on the description its all under a compressed folder can you help me

download the zip file. create a new folder and call it 'ipodwiz'. unzip the contents of the zipped file you downloaded into the new folder you created.

there nothing to install. simply double click the .EXE file in your ipodwiz folder to start ipodwizard.
