These little guys are nocturnal. Their names come from their strong and long tarsus ankle bone that allows them to hop from tree to tree without a problem or injury. These creatures are not meant for captivation or for a home pet but are suited for the wild.

Their diet consists of live insects and grasshoppers. One female can produce only one off-spring a year, that is why cases of reproduction in captivity is little
