  • LS, Thanks for posting this. I thought it was going to be a lot harder to do the way you explained everything. It was a pretty simple. cut and dry repair. I didn't even have to take the whole trunk cover off either. It actually got me motivated to change the trunk lights and both fogs lights. Not bad for a chick huh? Off to the performance shop now. Thanks Again.

  • @livingdeadgirl51 I felt the same way until I became determined to figure out how to take it apart and put it back together again. I was surprised how much work it takes to get the lights replaced, but when you take a step back and look at it, it isn't too bad! I'm glad this worked out for ya, and congrats on getting the trunk and fog lights done too! I need to replace my license plate lights soon. You are very welcome.

  • Omgosh. I spent one hour trying to get the headlight off and had to give up because of the washer on the top. Mine look welded on. I am so frigging mad. It's just the right rear blinker is out.

  • @amarige25 Oof, I'm sorry to hear about that! That's weird, it should just slide right out.

  • Thx for posting. It was helpful. Specialized tools make the job a little easier but cost bucks. I've changed tail lights in a dozen different cars over the years but never one so difficult to get to - Dern Ford engineers!

  • @whitelight512 This video was very helpful!!!!

  • @whitelight512 Hah! They seem to make it tough for people to do it on their own so you gotta take it to the dealership.

  • do you know how to change the third brack light? i havent lookied at it yet but i just ordered a new one

  • @shibbynuts2004 Oof, um I think it might be easy.. I haven't tried it yet though.

  • Good video, I had to do some work on the wiring system in my '83...

  • @reptar1994 Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat no way man

  • FYI The bottom bulb is not a 3157 it is a 3156. The 3157 have two elements so they can function as a tail light and a brake light, the 3156 has one element and is your back-up light
