Using extreme hypothetical situations it is possible to create a scenario that would justify almost anything. In the US 50000 family members die every year in auto accidents but does that mean we should lower all speed limits to 10mph? If your family just died in an accident you might think so. 1 In real life there are no ticking timebomb scenarios like in the movies

2 You assume there are no other quick effective methods but experts agree torture is not the best way to get info.

3 Studies show prisoners give false info and say anything under torture so anything you get won't save lives anyway
