Depending on what exactly this is for, critiques could vary.

If it's for an interactive game that has very low FPS limits, then I'll commend it to a point.

If it's for a more advanced game, then I will say that it needs a lot more work.

Even with 3 FPS, there is a massive lack of torso movement, which makes it incredibly unrealistic. The anatomy is off (neck, legs).

The jump, by far, is the most unrealistic part. It would be better if the jump wasn't so 'round.'

You're quite right - you can't really critique something you don't know!

Currently in SL there are two ways to 'animate' primitive objects. You can script each primitive to actually reposition it, or use the show and hide method I use.

Any form of animation will suffer heavily in laggy areas - unfortunately there's no way to avoid this. But fluid animation in SL just ain't possible yet - you have to work with what you're given - and judge the results in context.

Given the 3 frame per second animation limits for prims in Second Life, this horse is so far the best horse animation I have seen, still I will have to try one out in a sim and see what actual in game conditions do to the way the animation looks. Also I didn't hear any natural sound for the horse in this video, would be nice to hear what sounds it makes rather than the music. Thumbs up for sure on this product

Thanks :) There's demos available if you want to try 'em - you get 30mins so you could get some decent use out of them, or shout me in world if you want to see one. Obviously they fall apart a little when it's very laggy but I kept the prims to a minimum so even in messy sims it shouldn't look too horrible. There's sound in walk and run and a 'slow down' sound as you stop running, which, as you say, can't be heard in the video but does work in the demo. Anyway, thanks for the positive comment :)
