Hello , this radioactive mantle was a gift with the counter when I bought it . I think you can't find radioactive mantle nowadays .

Hello , the mantle is not very dangerous , you needn't a specific storage box . It can be dangerous if you put the mantle in your poket for a very long time . You can put it in a metalic box . Thanks , Fred .
