where i live theres a lad with a ninja 250 and me and my mate used to pass him with ease on my mito and his RS. the RS passed him with a pillion, i seriously dont rate them, i like the looks and all but to be beaten by two little race reps is shamefull..

@SYXXB13 wait till you get your first liter bike, i remember i went front an old beat up 750 to an r1 and i had to learn just how much throttle i could use befor the wheel pops up, i guess what im saying is now i just try to keep the front wheel down =D esp since they made the penalty for doing a wheelie so stiff =(

i would like to get a ninja 250r but i worry it would be to slow. I ride dirtbikes that are alot more powerful but it would be nice to learn on a slower street bike what do you think thanks

@2strokelover1 i cant say what size to get all i can say is a 250 will do 100mph easily...but why would you need to go that fast you couldnt possibly have enough reaction time to save your life at those speeds....it will do a 0 to 60 in like 6 seconds or so faster than most cars.....and it can hold up in the twisties with all the big bikes, a bike can only turn so fast before traction is lost thats a tire issue maybe... 50mpg....4k msrp....and looks sweet most people cant tell its a 250!!

@Streetracingpunk72 to be honest my first bike was an 82 susuki 750 its not as nimble as a sport bike but it had balls then i got my 250 on impulse with drago but we both learned to ride on that 750 although our skills were only sharpened on the 250s its much harder to make an ass of yourself on the 250

@Streetracingpunk72 we got that 750 free one day when i was like 8 and my pops fixed it up and rode it for a while when i turned 19 he gave it to me with only 14k miles on it still running like a beast and i rode it for about a year before i got my 250. that 750 is still in great shape and in my garage but it has no tags and whatnot but thats was the first thing i learned to ride.. i never even sat on a motorized machine before that 750 ,save for a 50cc gocart

wheelies on this model bike are easy ive got videos up of me doing them on my first few attempts. very easy. and no u cant just use power u have to pop the clutch. PM me if u want to know more
