I agree with your point in making this video but I do caution you as a brother that we need to deal gently with these situations. Remember the Lord telling his disciples those who aren't against us are for us. I think a lot of genuine Christians would change their presentations of the Gospel if they were shown in love the error.

There is a difference between asking Jesus to bless your child who is before the age of reason, choice, and accountability versus telling that child to confess Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior at such a young age. The more liturgical churches have a systematic way of introducing the young ones coming up. A bit of catechism before your first public profession of faith never hurt anyone.

When the Gospel (the story of Jesus) is preached or told ....the Holy Spirit will convict the one that hears it. Upon hearing and conviction the choice must be made on the receiver as to believe or not to believe. Only the Holy Spirit (God) has the right here to know if the children were sincere or not. This is not a place for theological banter. It is the same as Paul proclaiming the Gospel to the pagan philosphers of his time. The Gospel is proclaimed...let the Spirit work.

Hey brother, i've listened about what she's saying. Maybe God will do His work trough this words from this little lady. I am involved in spreading the Gospel to ~20-50 kids in a gipsy village, and sometimes i am thinking hard what to say, what to sing, what to pray, because they are poor & not to smart. I think our duty is to spread the Gospel, not assuring them they are really saved, but letting the Holy Spirit to assure them if they are really saved. Let's just pray for this lady and the kids

That was how I "accepted" the Lord when I was little. It really messed with me. Thank God for His mercy in that He didn't keep me in that place of deception, but it took years to realize the error of my old thinking.

You are correct though, God does know which of those children were born of the Spirit that day, and while I do believe that God saves people in spite of the worst preaching that does not excuse the preacher or their message.
@YeshElsm Yes, there's no doubt she could have explained how they are to be saved a little better, but the main idea isn't false...She still has everything covered; all she needs to do is to clarify HOW they are to be saved, which I'm sure--as everyone else does--she reverted the children to herself and others after their little concert, to find out more information, and to come to them for prayer. This is a standard; and if she didn't, then yes, something is very wrong.

@Creationcreed - What would you tell a 25 year old? Tell the children the same thing but contextualize it in such a way that it is understandable yet does not lose the essence of the Gospel story. This includes sin, the penalty for sin, the righteousness of Jesus, His substitution, atonement, and propitiation.
Romans 10:13, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. That's what these kids are doing. That Washer quote is profound, but no matter how clearly the gospel is proclaimed, the same problem he raises exists. Most instances of the gospel being proclaimed in the Bible don't include all aspects of the Bible.

But I also enjoy some reformed guys like Alistair Begg, Martyn Lloyd-Jones, Voddie Baucham, and Conrad Mbewe. I'm sure you have heard many sermons by all of these. I have the privledge to listen all day long to preaching on my MP3 player. My close friend and I are right now going through 'Revival' by MLJ. It has transformed our prayer lives. God is so good us, isn't he.

No matter how many times I watch this I am appalled. You do not ask the King and Creator of the Universe, whom you owe a debt to, to "come into your heart". For example....A Christian backslides and becomes a drug dealer, addicted to heroine, robs convience stores, and murders someone and is sentenced to death. Paul tells us in romans salvation has nothing to do with WILL OR WORKS but with mercy alone. In fact gods love creates miracles in our lives and not vice versa. There is a difference between asking Jesus to bless your child who is before the age of reason, choice, and accountability versus telling that child to confess Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior at such a young age. The more liturgical churches have a systematic way of introducing the young ones coming up. A bit of catechism before your first public profession of faith never hurt anyone.

When the Gospel (the story of Jesus) is preached or told ....the Holy Spirit will convict the one that hears it. Upon hearing and conviction the choice must be made on the receiver as to believe or not to believe. Only the Holy Spirit (God) has the right here to know if the children were sincere or not. This is not a place for theological banter. It is the same as Paul proclaiming the Gospel to the pagan philosphers of his time. The Gospel is proclaimed...let the Spirit work.

I am involved in spreading the Gospel to ~20-50 kids in a gipsy village, and sometimes i am thinking hard what to say, what to sing, what to pray, because they are poor & not to smart. @Bijuu10Espada4 - Are you smarter than a 5th Grader? Kids can grasp far more than you give them credit. My BIG problem with the video wasn't her poor Gospel presentation it was her grand pronouncement that everyone who raised their hand was now reconciled to God.
You are correct though, God does know which of those children were born of the Spirit that day, and while I do believe that God saves people in spite of the worst preaching that does not excuse the preacher or their message.

@YeshElsm Yes, there's no doubt she could have explained how they are to be saved a little better, but the main idea isn't false...She still has everything covered; all she needs to do is to clarify HOW they are to be saved, which I'm sure--as everyone else does--she reverted the children to herself and others after their little concert, to find out more information, and to come to them for prayer. This is a standard; and if she didn't, then yes, something is very wrong.

@Creationcreed - What would you tell a 25 year old? Tell the children the same thing but contextualize it in such a way that it is understandable yet does not lose the essence of the Gospel story. This includes sin, the penalty for sin, the righteousness of Jesus, His substitution, atonement, and propitiation.

Romans 10:13, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. That's what these kids are doing. That Washer quote is profound, but no matter how clearly the gospel is proclaimed, the same problem he raises exists. Most instances of the gospel being proclaimed in the Bible don't include all aspects of the Bible.
Many of your comments are also flawed. For example. Fantastic future? Of course there's a fantastic future! Read Revelation 21+22, or Isaiah 65:17-25.

My biggest concern as a child was beating Super Mario Bros., drinking pop, eating candy, and hoping that I wouldn't get caught masturbating. I believed my self saved blindly for 20 years because my mother and outside influences imposed on me that I was, it took God's word like a Chisel through the sermon by Paul Washer that broke the arrogant, ignorant, deceived fool that I was. But I also enjoy some reformed guys like Alistair Begg, Martyn Lloyd-Jones, Voddie Baucham, and Conrad Mbewe. I'm sure you have heard many sermons by all of these. I have the privledge to listen all day long to preaching on my MP3 player. My close friend and I are right now going through 'Revival' by MLJ. It has transformed our prayer lives. God is so good us, isn't he.

The content in the background of this video makes me what to throw up. I would like to have ten minutes with this lady so thet I may appeal to her to repent of her sins, believe the true gospel and be baptised in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost. I would also like to tell her that repentance, belief and the filling of the Holy Ghost are a dailey requirement to be Christian, verses a one time thing!!!

Paul tells us in romans salvation has nothing to do with WILL OR WORKS but with mercy alone. In fact gods love creates miracles in our lives and not vice versa. So a drug addict stops his addiction as response to gods love and not god loves him in answer to stopping his addiction.

In America, one of the biggest problems is false conversion because the idiot Evangelists lie to people and tell them they are saved when they walk down an aisle and accpet Jesus. Billy Graham himself knew that most conversions were false. In Billy Graham's forumula he uses for Evangelizes only 25% of conversions via altar call are true. The rest are false.

Example a chinese woman with 6 children and her husband in jail for being christian. The kids didn't ever get to take a meal to school. Then the lord sent her helpers. Gods spirit can teach everyone no matter how disabled the truth. And without that spirit nobody can come to know the truth. Now these children have heard of christ. Have sat at his feet. Have prayed to him to come into their hearts. And your telling us that they are being taught a lie? What lie??

Jesus promised us the comforter to TAKE HIS PLACE after his death. That comforter will bring you into all truth and will take of me and reveal it to you. Do you think that only means prophecy??? How did the world survive for 1500 years without a printing press??

How is it possible that christianity grew like a wildfire in europe with only a couple tens of thousands of biblical manuscripts? Without the spirit these children are lost no matter what you teach them. With the spirit they don't need a teacher.

Tell the children the truth, bring them up in the fear of the Lord.
Love is telling people that they are perishing, not saying it's ok your only a child, you're safe.

Boy, you've already judged me talk about a plank. Fear of the lord is loving god. Which is the same as hating evil. Not because god is an angy tyrant, but because you love him. In fact nobody could serve god out of fear. We worship him in spirit and truth. But let the children be children.

Untill you repent and trust the Lord Jesus Christ alone, as your Lord and Savior, you will not understand the Scriptures as they are spiritually discerned.

And not miss any part of the scripture but have a complete picture of who jesus is. Yes, jesus is powerless to save the children or any mentally handicapped person. Or else it would be stupid to say the mentally impaireds minds are equal to children of age 5. They must have KNOWLEDGE to be saved. Can you show me where the bible tells us that the wise would be saved and the poor of spirit are in tough luck?
