yeah they are stiff, it took me a week to get used to them, all the other wires took about a day or two. im havin surgery january 4th for an underbite, both upper an lowers being moved
wow did this surgery kick my ass, it doesnt hurt nearly as bad as i thought, more of being hit by a small van than a large bus like i expected. swollowing is harder than hell, my nose wont stop bleeding, my lips are numb so i drool and sting like hell around the edges so they burn like a mofo when things drool onto that part. i didnt get wired shut, i just have a big hard plastic splint in my mouth so i can eat very soft food. my ear canals are swollen shut tho so i am partially deaf

@TheLoneWolf1124 wow, that sounds like it sucks big time...so looking forward to having mine done now! also, im 24 so having braces through my mid twenties is going to be awesome I suspect...
@smoker1111111111 it was worth it tho, im still in my clear retainers and i just turned 20 and it sucks. my girlfriend gives me crap for em all the time calling them dentures and comparing me to her grandpa lol.
I'm really thankful for all of your videos! I've been given so much insight in my own future, given by a person in my own position :)
Soon I'll, hopefully, be given green light to surgery.. I'll take before/after pictures or possibly do a short video about it :)

That's a pretty nice ortho's office. It's great that he let you take video during your appointment...he's giving a lot of good information.
Those stainless wires are STIFF, but usually by the time you get them in there's not much physical adjustment left to do.

That sounds about right haha. It's no picnic. Just get past the first week and it's all downhill from there!
