  • @ZuluTheMild "Shouldn't" ... but unfortunately the reality is more complicated than that.

  • 북한이 좋으면 북한에서 살지 왜 일본에서 사냐?

If you like north korea, why don't you live in north korea giving up luxurious life in Japan !!!

    your tear is fake !!!

  • fuck politics LOVE FOOTBALL

  • @ZuluTheMild

the reason he cried is not that you are talking about

cuz, he was born in Japan and he moved to South Korea with his father but he had North Korean style education in the school, so nothing affect him where he is belong.

however. 2004 he became national football player of North Korea and 2010 world cup was the first match which helped him to find where he is really belong in his life.

  • @ZuluTheMild

the reason he cried is not that you are talking about,,,,,

cuz he was born in Japan, he came over to South Korea with his father but he went to school which is North Korean style school, so nothing gave him a reason that he is a Japanese , South Korean or North Korean. 2004 he became national football player of North Korea and 2010 world cup was the first match which help him to find where he is really belong in his life.

  • he scored against Brazil, i think thats quite an achievement

  • when there is more honour involved this is what you get, passion, compare this with the english premiere league when you actually got players getting paying hundresds of thousands of pounds a week and STILL refuse to come on and play

  • Jong Tae-Se had never even been to North Korea before he played for them! He's South Korean and grew up in Japan!

  • he is the real fuking man

  • fucking traitor

  • No he is not crying because he scared of being killed, he cried because he stand there in the international match, where are free, but he remember his people, his friends, his country still in flame :(

  • I LOVE NORTH COREA :) DEATH TO AMERIICA

  • què importa si el hombre vive en un paìs que es un infierno, o si es de haitì o kazajo o cualquier otro??

el orgullo y amor por la bandera es algo que no se compra en la esquina, independiente del paìs que sea...

    mis respetos para este hombre!!!

  • Fuck Kim Jun Il..Free for North Korea...South Korea please just do same thing like Germany...FREE YOUR COUNTRY OUT from hungry Kim and his family...

    - Kim communist...go to hell

  • @CharlieDoan No free south korea from american imperialism. LONG LIVE NORTH KOREA. -Obama capitalist..... go to hell.

  • I love it how much passion this footballer has for representing his nation. Sure many dislike it because of its human rights and 'aggressive' appearance but you must admire how much this man loves his country.

Like Knaan with his 'wave your flag' song as he loves his country even though with its own problems.

  • Jong Tae Se Please Play on BPL !

  • He crying because he knows he's going to have to go back to North Korea after the game. And that's a very good reason for crying!

  • he knows he's gonna get killed when he goes home for forgetting the words. :P

  • muaaaaaaaaaaa :(

  • Don't think at all it's for his country, but he's thinking about all troubles in his country, and the chance he got to be there, doing what he likes, free as like others players of the world !

  • It's not really touching patriotism when you consider that they have been heavily brainwashed everyday since they were born

  • @mmscott9 he was raised in japan i think

  • @mmscott9 whats worse being heavily brain washed by the state or heavily brainwashed by a materialistic culture?

  • @3thebrudas at the very least in a materialistic culture your family doesn't starve to death, and if you speak up against a "glorious leader," you aren't sent off to hidden forced labour/re-education camps

  • @mmscott9 why the fuck do you have to bring politics into sport? Fuck u , he was crying because he was proud of his nation just being at the world cup and was just overwhelmed by it all.

  • football is the most passionate sport in the world.

  • I remember that match, when i saw the number 9 cry at the anthem i didnt knew why he did that, but then you saw him play, Korea played against brazil with a 5 4 1 formation and that same guy number 9 was the only striker, but i tell you he was focking running hes @ss off, he didnt gave a flying fck about brazil he gave 120% i remember it pretty well, good guy.

  • North Korea did not have great skills , but damn they gave it all in that game against Brazil !! They played with their hearts and pride , not every national team has that now days. Money buys pride and hearts in Europe that is for sure.

  • Hes an asian monkey

  • His Parents are from south Korea, they live in Japan. He only cries becouse hes a askan

  • If all england player have jong spirit and proud.i think they can win wc.lol

  • PASHUN!!! apparently coming to leicester...

  • FUCKING STUPID PEOPLE.. HE IS NOT NORTH KOREAN!

  • @technical010 He has a North Korean mum, and was raised in the North Korean education system, so he's been issued a DPRK passport. Must be a good education system f the japanese use it! I mean, the guy speaks 6 languages fluently.

And most Koreans dont like to think of themselves as Northern or Southern Korean anyway. It's just the political stalemate which keeps them apart - the vast majority would love to see reunification, and that goes for people in both countries.

  • @yourfacearts

GOOD POINT.. But wait.. I saw in a source claiming he is of SOUTH KOREAN DESCENT

OR MAYBE.. his MUM.. is a North Korean who went to South Korea because of the war

and gain citizenship but was originally born in North.. So you know..

But thats right.. its the freaking politics thing that MADE.. KOREA

in a sad division .. darn politics.. I HATE POLITICS.. but i do like History

  • @technical010 He's Japanese I think.

  • @90boyle

    Japanese Citizen.. but Korean blooded..

  • @technical010 Amen, brother.

  • @technical010 then from wer? Taliban?

  • @slloom9

Look at his citizenship.. IT SAYS.. JAPANESE.. that aint any near TALIBAN mother fucker

  • @technical010 ok eff off s2pid mazer effer

  • @slloom9

ok you first you.. yala yala.. habibi facker

  • @technical010 i come there with the two chop sticks and i shoot up in ur ass. rofl eff off u talibani

  • @slloom9

Im not Talibani.. you hashish idiot..

  • @technical010 hallo and salamalekum my talibani bastard frienduh

  • @slloom9

    Sukran..

  • @technical010 hey you lying warmonger, jong tae se is north korean. fifa says you need to have a PASSPORT to play for your country. he has a north korean passport, koreans in japan are not japanese, they re residents of south or north korea. wow you are incredibly stupid impearilist pig

  • @Littleguidofan

THEN WHY IS HE STAYING IN JAPAN.. AND DOES NOT FOLLOW THE NORTH KOREAN CONSTITUTION??????!! EXPLAIN THAT!! I AM NOT IMPERIALIST

IM A LIBERAL OPEN SOCIALIST YOU INSOLENT COMMIE DICK SUCKER

  • @technical010 im not communist u capatilist pig, im democratic hence dpr(democratic peoples republic) korea. and hes not in japan hes in germany playing for bochum. you need to do research stupid not just saying stupid statments. his mom and dad came from north korea during japanese invasion , but japanese government dosent give them citizenship, so they have to take citizenship from one of the two koeas. so his family took up north korean cause his parents from north. wow UR SO FUCKIN STUPID

  • @Littleguidofan

Im a North Korean - Japanese.. And i know better.. IT AINT THAT WAY..

My Family went to Japan in 1949.. I was born in 1987 in Japan..

I LIVED IN JAPAN.. HALF OF MY LIFE. .. U SUCK

  • this is what the world game is all about the passion for one sport

  • It's actually really nice to see a man show so much passion when playing for his team

  • @TheKid1551 PASSION NOT! PROUD IS THE TRUE!

  • Apparently he's just purely South Korean and born in japan, plays for a Japanese pro team, but didn't get into neither national team, so all he does is go to Japan's North Korea embassy and exchange in his South Korean passport for a North Korean one so he gets to play in the FIFA game. and then he changes back.

Good for him to do all this just to be in the game...since now a second leaguer in Germany took him in. Good life, not North Korean, pretending to be one though!

  • @estherlau123 his moms north korean.

  • !He's like "Aww, I'm hunry. My bastard leader won't feed me!"

  • i read this dude's biography..born in japan to south korean parents..why in da hell would anybody want to move to north korea and give up citzenship to japan and south korea to live in that nutty ass country with that crazy ass dictator/killer?

is it true some of the players and the coach got put into a work camp after the tourney?

  • god you dont see kaka crying but i like seeing a person who is very close to his country

  • He Said He Was Gonna Score A Goal In Every Game

  • @17gibin LOL no wonder he's crying, fuck me he must be dead right now.

  • Jong Tae-Se scored the goal for Bochum that won me £500 on an accumulator tonight, I will be forever grateful. He is now officially my favorite player of all time.

  • He really had the national feeling for the other guys... He said he has big respect for his teammates who live in North Korea... Him self is living in Japan

  • I think he is the only player who can actually cry on the team. I don't think the others have that right, being under communism.

  • Tae-Se is a great player. Now he is in the "Bundeliga".

btw, you can read the Japanese nationality law as often as you want to, but you wont become a japanese ;)

  • Nice to see a player who gives a fuck.

  • Chong Tese Vfl Bochum !

  • this guy could teach a thing or two for the epl players

  • That's true passion der !! And no team could fucking by that !!

  • "OMG theyre gonna kill my mother if I don't score a hat trick!"

Aww but all jokes aside, its touching to see how passionate he feels about this. I just wish half of the premiership players etc felt this way about playing for their country instead of how much money they get or how many birds it can get them.

  • @supasumosquish2 he's actually born and raised in Japan and holds Japanese citizenship(not north korean). but he chose to play for the north korea because of his emotional ties to north korea(his mother's family is originally from north korea). this dude is insanely rich and has a playboy status in japanese media. he's undoubtedly the luckiest dude in the lineup there.....the other real north korean players don't have expensive cars and huge mansions like him. he lives in japan, not north korea

  • He grew up in Japan but only because his North Korean parents were moved to the country as Labourers from North Korea against their will. There they were treated like outsiders and I can only imagine that during his childhood, Jong-Tae Se felt a strong connection to North Korea. So, he's proud of his country... I guess?

  • at least one footballer who knows what sort of responsibility and honour it is to represent the country... this clip should be shown to England players prior to each game...

  • And there's is nothing better than representing your country in a World Cup.

  • @eaglehockey16 jong tae-se is now playing in the second german bundesliga for vfl bochum. so he don't live in japan anymore ;)

  • @jokerrhe actually jong tae-se was born and raised in japan so he knows the real world ;) he never lived in north korea

    Fucking English please

Du ma, Noi Tieng Anh coi thang lon!

  • @CharlieDoan sorry mate, I didn't mean to get you out of the spanish conversation... I said that there are smart asses that try to show off all the time...like kim jong ill and some other ones around the world...:P

  • look world, finally i am here for world cup!!

  • @swollocks1didn't know that. thanks for the information.

  • i think he saw kim jong il running his finger along his throat

  • he's crying because he knows from the beginning that he is sooooo fucked up when returning home!

  • @OlympicAirPilot North Korea isn't Iraq. The Iraqis used to torture and kill failed athletes.

  • not the anthem, he got dildo up his ass

  • Legea is a north korean sponsor ?

    lol stupid country ;/

  • hes probably crying coz he kno he gonna get hanged if they lose by north korean government!

  • he aint even north korean he's japanese

  • somebody told me that kim jong-Hun the coach for north korea was getting Text messages from Kim Jong-il well what kind of cell phone was kim-jong-hun using?

  • it's propaganda, he's been told to cry by the north korean leadership.. isn't that obvious

  • That is proud right there, he knows he reached the top of his carrer right there on that moment.

  • @jokerrhe Perhaps, but That player actually lives in Japan. So He Knows the real world. He's crying more because he had difficulty to get into the team. And besides he lives in Japan, he cries becase of what is happening in his country... A friend from Canada :)

  • @eaglehockey16 that is exaclty right...

  • @jokerrhe seems you have no honor....so shut up then....

  • @jokerrhe He was born in Japan, lived in Japan Until worl cup, and now lives in germany. you know?

  • @jokerrhe he grew up in japan so errr.... no

  • @jokerrhe no.. that' not the reason for crying. He has grown up in japan for his whole life.

  • @jokerrhe racist

  • @jokerrhe atleast he got the opportunity to be in the world cup while you are at home, most likely some fat ass who cant even spell football.

  • @Mu8addas HAHA funny so many people got offended. i will reply to yours since u seem most passionate about it. nah the offense is towards Kim Jong il and his whack policies and delusional regime.. i was an athlete all my life until i went off to college/started working couple years back (injury) so yeah i wish i was there in his place for sure

  • @jokerrhe he's korean of japanese citizenship. so trust me...being born and raised in japan, one of the most modern countries in the world, he is not thinking "damn.so this is the real world"...japan is a hundred times more modern and capitalistic than south africa(which is where the games was held).

  • @heomak No he only live in Japan not a Japan citizen, you can't be the Japan citizen just bcuz you were born in Japan

  • @xxxxxUndisputedxxxxx Yeah and he will be reported back to his shitty country as soon as the Japanese Liberal Party (the real patriots) will get back it's regime

  • *deported

  • @xxxxxUndisputedxxxxx your comment is stupid. If you're born in Japan you're a Japanese citizen CAPTAIN OBLIVIOUS.

  • @lilblake90 You're stupid. Go look up the Japanese nationality law you dumb fuck.

  • @jokerrhe

He was born in Japan and was brought up in Japan.

  • @jokerrhe hes actually lives in japan and play in the j league u know...so i presume he knows what the real world looks like

  • To anyone bashing him for being proud, you should know that most people from North Korea have NO IDEA that their country's conditions are so horrible. They think it's normal. And it is absolutely NOT, nor should it be called a "good country". It's communist. They have no freedom. They break a law, like walking around too much or complaining about something, and they're sent to CONCENTRATION CAMPS. Jong Tae-Se is an amazing man. It sickens me to think this is the only life he knows.

  • @UberKiwix3 he actually lived in japan all his life so he's fully aware

  • @UberKiwix3

jong lived in japan, and north-korea is not a communist country...

  • @JeremyTanbros someone else already pointed out that he's Japanese - I didn't know that (sorry for assuming he was north korean).

But you sure about that second part? Hate to break it to you but North Korea IS communist. And it's a pretty sad place too.

  • @UberKiwix3 Well no, he's technically South Korean. Just born and raised in Japan, but his parents opted for him to get the citizenship that they had (South Korean) instead of Japanese by birth. Also it's important to note that Jong hasn't ever gone to North Korean. After the World Cup when the North Korean team was publicly humiliated and the coach sent to work in a labor camp for a month, both Jong and Ahn Yong-Hak stayed in Japan to avoid it. They only go to NK to train with the national team

  • @NYJ1337 I wonder why he agreed to play for NK then? I mean he could've just felt bad for them but still. That's so sad about the coach :(

  • @NYJ1337 They never got punished it was false, theyre training for asian cup..and jong has been to nk, in an interview he says his family is originally from nk , but went to japan when japan occupied korea

  • @Littleguidofan No they did get punished. The team were forced to face a barrage of criticism for 6 hours straight by fans, officials, and students alike. Kim Jong Hun (the coach) was forced out of the Worker's party and worked at a "construction job." Also I don't know what interview you read or what Jong wants to believe, but it is documented that his parents and him are South Korean. They switched allegiances after going to Japan. Koreans in japan tend to be pro-NK due to historical reasons

  • @JeremyTanbros north korea IS a communist country

It is South Korea that isnt a communist country.

  • @UberKiwix3 Jong Tae Se has lived in Japan all his life and played in the J. League. His parents as well as he is South Korean, but his mother identified herself as a North Korean (North Korea has a history of helping Zainichi or Koreans born in/immigrated to Japan since they suffer from racial discrimination through an organization known as Chongryon). He attended a Chongryon school. He grew up supporting North Korea. After he saw DPRK lose to Japan in a match, he decided he would play for them

  • the thing is that he was born in japan and went to play soccer in north korea

he is the only member of the north korean national team that is allowed to play soccer for clubs outside the country

  • Jong Tae-Se is japanese

  • @hirntoot No Jong Tae-Se holds South Korean Citizenship (Parents chose to give him South Korean citizenship by having South Korean parents over Japanese citizenship by birth), but was born in and raised in Japan. Neverless, he officially holds a South Korean Citizenship. He tried to give up the SK Citizenship, but South Korea doesn't recognize North Korea as a country so he cannot switch to North Korean citizenship. So no Jong Tae Se is in no way shape or form Japanese.

  • how can somebody be pride of such a fuckin shitcountry like north corea?

  • its too bad he chose to play with north korea...he couldve been a lot better if he was playing with south korea

  • i wish i was one of those kids, GO DPRK!

  • Does anyone knows his Girlfriend is japanese or korean?

  • The reason why he's crying is because his team have made it to the world cup,it was a great achievement for N. Korea!

Although he lives in Japan he has alot of North Korean blood in him so he plays for the North!

I hope they can come back in 2014!

  • jong tae se was born and raised in japan dudes..d

  • jong tae se was born and raised in japan dudes..

  • jong tae se was born and raised in japan dudes..

  • he cries because he see a world that wasn't as bad as kim jong ill told him

  • @taproot12

no, he has already seen the 'outside world'.

  • he's crying cuz he has to play brazil. he was thinking ": shit it the group of death we have no chance" mwahahahhahahah

  • i think the cry is misunderstood

anyone can cry if their goal is to play in the world cup and they are in it in front of billions of people

  • Charliedoan, your an idiot who cannot speak even one language.

    Get

    The

    Fuck

    Off

  • Crying because while he play soccer now,his family is hungry at home!

-If he escap out to the free world his family will have HARD TIME WITH KIM JUNK ILL

    - He cried because he saw all throw away food there will feed North Korean for few years, He cries for North korrea why still in communist hand...The whole team MUST cry because they saw COCA-COLA all over, the film will cut before they show in North Korea TV(Coke- not allowed in North Korea because simple of Capitalism!)

  • tears of joy to play against brazil in a world cup finals match. on top of that they could've even won that game.

  • it was his first time playing at the world cup, give him a break

  • Article from goal.com

Tae-Se also explained his tears during his country's national anthem in the World Cup match against Brazil.

“I just realised that my big dream to play in a World Cup match had come true," he smiled. "I thought of my parents and how proud they may be and I simply started to cry.”

  • @TheDarkstar1982

i THINK THIS TAE-SE PLAYED FOR SOME CLUB IN EUROPE(ONLY 1 GUY)

HE CRIED FOR HIS COUNTRY WHY STILL IN COMMUNIST HAND SO LONG!

AFTER RECEIVED 7-0 IN THE MATCH WITH PORTUGAL THE WHOLE TEAM GET PISS OFF FROM FAT KIM JUNK ILL EXCEPT THIS TAE-SE!

(THE COACH OF NORTH KOREA MAY GET EXCECUTE!! YOU NEVER KNOW IN THAT CRAZY COMMUNIST COUNTRY!) you are so smart or so stupid are nogood, just shut mouth and do it in communist world

  • That guy just had an epiphany, he realized how shitty his country is lol

  • i did not know that north koreans had feelings. lol

  • Kim Jong Il bribed the Chinese to support the north koreans there.

  • This guy was crying b/c he do not know how to sing the North Korean National anthem. He is actually a South Korean citizen with North Korean passport. He never been to North Korea. He only played for them due to having their passport.

  • He knows that NORTH KOREA IS BEST KOREA!

  • i believe jong tae-se is NOT north korean. he lives in japan, play professional soccer there, and was born to south korean parents, in japan.

he is hired by the north korean gov't to play for north korea. he trades in his south korean passport for a north korean passport at the n. korean embassy in tokyo each time he plays for them. if anything, he's a sell-out.

  • @graceatbaker ur fuckin stupid, he went to a north korean school in japan,, read ur facts bfore u post fucking piece of shit

  • @graceatbaker don't be stupid. jong tae-se's mother is a North Korean

  • @graceatbaker You are an idiot. Both sides of Jeong Tae-Se's parents were from the South Korea. However, in order to give Jeong understand his roots, he went to North Korean school in Japan. His parents simply didn't care North or South, simply chose a school based on what would give their son best education and pride on his background. He had choices to choose between joining Japanese National Team, South Korean National Team, but he chose North Korean team.

  • @Xentradi97 This was a very controversial decision that surprised many but he simply said he did it to pay gratitude to the North Korean school that made him who he is today. His decision while criticized by some, has been a right one. Through him, Korean communities in Japan (whether they are North affiliated or South affiliated) unite in pride. And so to people of South Korea and North. He wanted to be a bridge that brings people together he said. He did just that and more.

  • @Xentradi97 His fans also include Japanese as well as Chinese and others. What's better for a person to bring all these people together? He made a hard decision. But it was a right one. Today he has fans in Japan, North Korea, South Korea, China, SE Asia and Europe. Leave politics for idiots. This is a good dude. And it's a beautiful sport.

  • @maxpayne2424 in fact most of the time i don't see players from other countries singing their national anthem !

  • The reason he is crying is because it's brazil if they loose the Korea team get touted by Korea government.

  • hes crying cuz if they lose theyll get tortured

  • @MultiRockstar34 It's called Pride and Love for the game and the nation he represents. You obviously don't understand none.

  • tae-se ist ein bochumer !!!!

  • i see all these comments saying bad things about North Korea and stuff and i would like to say that i dont consider any country to be better than another, yea there might be more political issues in other countries but i still dont consider USA to better than North Korea even though it might be true. i like to consider all of us equals as people and as countries

  • @MaagFilms the north korean governments is fucked... i pity its citizens

  • a true man representing his country. Sure he may play for a country which is quite hated around the world but better to have played like he did despite this rather than play like France did

  • That is IGNORANCE and STUPIDITY for you having the ARROGANCE to represent your "people" in such a big stage...Whoever laughs at him for crying is KNOWS how the NORTH KOREANS BRAINWASHES its citizens into ignoring the atrocities that their governments perform on a daily basis.

  • Score 3 goals or we kill your mom

  • @councilglasses shut ur face!!!

  • he's cry because he going to get excluded when he gets back to north korean.

  • @ussr1593 Shut up!!!
