lol, you don't judge a hadith as strong or weak depending on how it sounds. you go by the chain of narrators. for instance lets say that "yusuf ibn yahya" reports that "abu jahal" said that "hassan ibn ail" told him that adultery is allowed.
if we look at the chain of narrators, we can see that "abu jahal" is in that chain and we know that he isn't trustworthy at all, so we ignore that hadith. etc etc
but dont spend too much time on hadiths. reading hadiths requires knowing the science...

lol, you don't judge a hadith as strong or weak depending on how it sounds. you go by the chain of narrators. for instance lets say that "yusuf ibn yahya" reports that "abu jahal" said that "hassan ibn ail" told him that adultery is allowed.
if we look at the chain of narrators, we can see that "abu jahal" is in that chain and we know that he isn't trustworthy at all, so we ignore that hadith. etc etc
but dont spend too much time on hadiths. reading hadiths requires knowing the science...

the best way is to go through the quran. that doesn't mean you completely ignore the hadiths. but be very weary of them, unless you know what you are doing.
the fact of the matter is that the telling of hadiths was banned after the death of the prophet(pbuh) for a bit and many were burned, thus why there are relatively very few trustworthy hadiths

1) assuming that hadith is accurate, that doesn't give anyone a right to hate the jews. afterall, it's talking about the end of times
2) regarding hadiths, if you look at the chain of narrators, it'll give you a good indication of how authentic it is, sunni, or shia or whatever.
3) it depends on who you ask. some sunnis (usually the loud ones) are convinced that shia are not muslim
either way, sects are prohibited several times in the quran, which is why i refuse to label myself as either

i dont see why not, that particular hadith has nothing to do with worship or practice of Islam. furthermore it may not be metaphoric, it may be true in a way we as humans do not understand in a supernatural sense, just like a belief in heaven or God. the jew hiding behind the rock is a prophecy, you can say it causes alienation but you fail to quote where in the torah it says all non jews should become the slaves of jews or be killed. so i think that jewish writings are also alienating people.

I though that was obvious. I know because I read the Hadith in Arabic and the whole language is futuristic. Hence, Bukhari invented a Hadith where the Prophet is revealing an event that had not occurred yet. There are many hadiths of this nature in Bukhari, and as I said they contradict the Quran.

The hadith is in no way meant to create alienation between muslims and jews. jews lived in peace under the rule of muslims during the prophets time. Muslims are even allowed to marry jews and eat kosher meat. My final comment is if you really want unity between Muslims and Jews, you'll join many other Jews in protest against Israels barbaric treatment of the Palestinians. That is what is causing the problem, not sahih al bukhari.
