Yes it was really hard to sit there and listen to it knowing that it was my brother singing it. He is in a better place now, but I still miss him. He was my baby brother; I have lost two more since him.
You're welcome. Heaven is so much better than this old world. They wouldn't come back no matter what. They wouldn't trade Heaven for this old world full of troubles and pain, but it does make Heaven that much more sweeter to know our loved ones are there.
K.G.M wishes you and your family a wonderful Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
I love this song, it makes me sad though. I lost my youngest brother in 2001 this song was sung at his funeral...the tough part was that it was him singing it! It was very difficult knowing that he was gone, but we could still hear him singing. He had a beautiful voice. He also sang "Sheltered In The Arms of God". It took me a long time before I could listen to those songs without crying.
That is so sad. I am sorry that your brother died. I can imagine how you must feel when you hear this song. Thanks for your touching comment. God bless you.
Thank you for this video. We buried my dad yesterday. He pasted away with stage IV colon cancer. He told me honey, I am a winner either way if God wants to heal me and let me stay on this earth or decides to take me home with HIM. I told my dad I understand and I love you dad.
Thank you so very much for the comment. I am so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. God's children are truly winners either way. Thanks again for sharing and I pray that the Lord will comfort you heart in your time of sorrow. Visit us again anytime. God Bless.
Thank you for sharing this comment with us. I am sorry for the loss of your husband. That is so sad. But, true christians don't have to worry when they die. They are truly winners either way. Thank you again for sharing this touching comment. God bless you always. Visit again anytime.
My husband went home to be with Jesus this past April and when we found out he had terminal cancer he said from the begining he was a winner either way if God called him home he would get to be with our daughter and start raising her she pasted away when she was 11 days old, and if God let him stay he could stay here and continue to take care of me so he was a winner either way.
This is my favorite song by Standing Tall. I have always thought Mike has such a great voice. I've been trying to replace the CD that has this song on it and am having no luck. If anyone has any ideas, I'd be extremely grateful. Thanks for posting this.
Thanks for your comment. I hope you get a replacement of the cd. There is a service called: "Frostwire" where you can download songs. It could have some of the songs that your cd had on it before. I don't know if this will help you though, but it is a thought..lol. Thanks again.
You're welcome. We are glad you enjoyed it. He comes every year to Kentucky to sing at a place in Jackson County. Hopefully he will there again this year.
