@kennisrussell Thanks! The rate/mod parameters and stuff like that definitely aren't obvious. It's amazing how many times I see people buying $400+ delay pedals because they "need" effects that their DD20 already does.
@christiancavestany To be honest, I'm not quite sure what self-oscillate means. I've seen it described a bunch of times different ways, but I can tell you that if you turn up the feedback knob, it will get louder and louder until you turn it back. It's possible to whack a chord or note, and just keep feeding that sound back into the box again and again and again. You can adjust the time knob, which changes the pitch, or go into the Twist and Warp mode for extra wacky noises. It does get trippy.
@christiancavestany Definitely recommend it, they hit the nail on the head with this pedal. Being able to switch between four saved settings means that you won't lose a great long delay setting just because you need to do a short slapback delay on the next song. The Space Echo setting is my favorite to use on solos, and I use a subtle dotted-eighth style delay for most other stuff.
@petejt Thank you so much. Make sure you check out the review I just did on the PitchBlack+... I kind of added some silly in there.
As for the modulate function, the only real thing I can think of is that if you set the delay time to something really low (10-20ms) and the feedback to zero, it basically gives you a chorus effect. Not as good as a standalone Chorus pedal, but it'll do in a pinch.
@posiedonpowertrio not at all. But, distortion pedals are noisy, you could try a noise suppressor between distortion and delay if you do get a lot of noise

This was really handy. thanks very much. Definitely a standout over many other (crap) pedal demonstrations.
Are there any tricks with the Modulate function?
