I am actually studying history in University, and i am english, so no bias in favour of the mongols, but the English Empire was MORE STRETCHED OUT (as in they had more diverse places), but not bigger (as in the superficy of the land) and the number of people who were subdued by the mongols was far superior. On a personal level, i also think that the mongol empire was more impressive; as they conquered with skill, no technology involved !
