I totally just found a site that sells these. Sad thing is they changed to LPD8806 chips. But they were generous enough to give an entire tutorial on how to use it, and they have a tutorial for the HL1606 For more information, look here:

I have the code from adafruit, but I don't know what pin to connect the sync to. From the code I can tell pin 10 for Latch pin 11 for data and 13 for clock.

I just don't know which pin is used for sync. Can you help me out?
