Those high voltage lines would more than likely cause severe interference to you r/c equipement.

dude u need more speed on takeoff. i suggest getting a simulator also, and practice alot. i just flew my plane three days ago for the first time and it was great...get a sim, and practice.. too expensive of a hobby to crash all the time!!
