It was a terrible move for him to make the apology. Much bigger mistake than getting caught shagging around. Its his life, and it is absurd that so many self-righteous prigs feel that they have the right to judge him. Apologise to his wife if he wants save the marriage, sure; but to the whole world. Tiger shouldn't say he is sorry to anyone except his wife. That is crazy!! Tiger really did that speech to tell the damn media to leave his family alone. I don't believe in cheating but many people do it everyday!!! He is a great golfer . That is it!!

His apology should have been a personal one. He doesn't owe the general public nothing. His wife (if she forgives him) is the only one who will have to lay with him when all the cameras are gone.

Just because of the size of something does not mean that it is not a mistake. I think that we are judging him a little too hard and we need to give him some credit that he's trying to get over the situation. Put yourself in his shoes.

Tiger knocked Haiti out of the news today, got more coverage than the arrest of Conrad Murray, got more coverage than the people who crashed the plane into the building in Austin,Tx. It's just a sad state of affairs, no pun intended.
