To me he is the greatest musical artist in history. These days corporations have so much control that they basically kill an artist off & move onto the next artist. It's very rare to see these types of artists who weren't discovered on the internet and processed. He paid his dues & did some o f the most brilliant work including creating his image(s). No artist today would have the balls to kill off their most famous character tho no artist today has that as Bowie did, I refer to Ziggy.

"is somebody gonna blow this?" I can't believe he's still this funny. He's so fucking funny in all the newer interviews. A little tame, but fucking funny. I love that sense of humor. It's amazing that he can walk away from all the stuff he walked away from and went through in his life and yet he still talks to the media and he doesn't try to act like he's being crucified every time someone brings up his career. Bob Dylan is a good example of what he could've very well become. Bitter.

@rafapak I believe his brief stint at real jobs when he was a young teenager was; part time in a record store; advertising agency as an artist, a photocopying boy, and I've read once he was a butchers boy delivering meat. I think he got fired from all of them. :P He was trying to make it in music from the age of 14 or 15.

I wonder has any Bowie fan ever tried to attack George Underwood...the person who caused Bowie's eye to be injured , and also... is there any eye specialist that could reverse the damage, Bowie will soon be in his mid-60's, I guess if he's lived with it this long with it, he'll probably die with it, but I still wonder is technology advanced enough to correct the damage to the eye
