The ghostbox's only purpose is to play an EVP in certain areas. It does not protect you from ANYTHING, it is only there to freak you out. The detector turns red when something happens on the map. If you hear props flying, and the detector lights up, that was a ghost ;-)

The camera is meant for portable suveilence in the starting room, it is normally the last channel before the tv's switch to the dust room cameras. It is quite laggy however. Keep in mind, nothing protects you, not even guns :)

I think the ghostbox is used so that a deadly (or maybe even undeadly) events don't start and maybe you have to empty it somehow. Kinda like "ghostbusters".

I would have shit my pants if I heard an "SSSSSSSSSSSSssssssssssssssss" though...creepers scare me more than a scary movie...

i think ghost box is used to speak whit ghosts, on the second time the light turned red i heard "Who are you?" from somewhere.
