Did anyone notised that Jill loses her right zills at the 1:56.... :) when they are turning. From then on she doesn't have then anymore. but what a proffesional attitude - she almost doesn't twich an eye at the happening, she's just dancing on. It took me the third time when I wached the video that at 3:55 i saw that she's without them :))

@dancerbranka OMG you filmed this severals times, right? :))) CAuse, as a said in my previous comment, at 1:56 Jill loses her right zills, and from then on sometimes she has them, and sometimes she doesn't.(with: 2:15, 2:23, 2:33, 3:30... without 1:58, 2:00, 2:25, 2:40, 3:45...) That means only one thing, that this video was filmed at least two times and then mixed into one :)))

Yes, the music is wonderful and I believe that this is the only recording. The musicians were playing live. The music is original and was composed, arranged & performed by 3SPELL.

I'm glad you like the video. It was fun because of the live music and the great dancers but also difficult because I was live switching between 3 cameras. In that studio all the cameras fed into one master so it wasn't possible to edit later. I have another belly dance videos and also another from that session, but this one was the most successful and I'm very selective in what I put on my channel..

Well, I kind of have the impression that this song is improv and not for retail sale. The musicians go by the name of 3spell and they do have an album out, but this song is not on it. Their stuff is very incredible, though. Check them out.

lilgem, this is not "gypsy bellydance", this is american tribal style or improvisational tribal style. The troupe is named Ultra Gypsy. If you're interested in this style you should look for ATS teachers in your area :)

I'm in this piece...it was done just after i joined. What's unfortunate about this video is that the editor didn't know enough about the choreography to have us on the right counts...so there's parts where we're starting on the 3, or they have our hip drops on completely the wrong beat. Sigh...another good reason to have a dancer in the edit room.

Other than that, it's quite the history lesson ;)

I see the tattoo, as well as some of the other dancers. They are very light and pixelated, but knowing the shape of it over her hip, I see a blurred greenish design. Some of the others had the same pale blurry green marks on their torsors.

I think they were tattoes.
