Cool video - you're lucky to have such a big fenced backyard. We have tons of pesky rabbits around my neighborhood... my dogs always want to chase them, but I can't let them off the leash. Those damn rabbits are fast.
@Hersheysvideos hey nice vid, funny i liked it alot.. but yo dog would never catch a rabbit, i have a pit bull and a bull terrier that are the best in the business, i love to c em catching rabbits, theyre so fast and accurate, theyre the real deal for killing rabbits.. its hard dho to train them. but once u put the killer instinct on em, they will never miss a rabbit, theyll catch it for u in no time.. i like rabbits they taste good.
that's a huge backyard..or..whatever.....but its big!!! lol i thought that the dog would be a lot faster...lol but still sooo cute...my dog would explode of anger if that wuz her...
my dog goes for squirrels ferociously she'll chase rabbits but she don't hate them as much, she has never caught either but 1 day she was too fast for a squirrel caught up and her front leg kicked him sending him tumbling, she could have had him then but i screamed at her forcing her to leave him, i would've felt real bad, it was in the woods not like he was invading her territory. NIce to let feel their natural hunting instincts though they must enjoy it.
What a pathetic dog!! More like a fluffy rat :p But it was quite funny to see him try to catch the rabbit. If the rabbit had stopped playing and turned around things could have turned nasty ;)
I garantee if that dog was a Jack Russel the first 10 sec's of this video the rabbit would have been caught. anyways great video I thought it was hilarious.!
@octopusmagnificens - yeah unfortunately terrible breeding practices (wanting to make dogs look cute) have destroyed a lot of their natural ability. Some of these dogs have terrible stamina (look at what happened to English bulldogs). The poor dog was doing what came natural to it... but it couldn't measure up.
Funny vid man you are so lucky to have these faries visit your garden, I have a rabbit, its beta i tested to place it in your backyard rather than cage.
cute dog! one time a rabbit got into our enclosed part of the yard, and my 25 lb Cardigan was out and she chased that rabbit for almost 10 mins strait. then it got out through a small hole in the fence. but a rabbit gets in the yard almost once a week!
my jack russell would catch him in no time. I would kinda feel sorry for him because my JRT catches rabbits on open fields, where the rabbit can go any where it wants, and knows where to hide. In a cornered back yard like that, it wouldnt have a chance...lol My I've clocked my JRT at 39 mph. He loves runnning, and will catch almost anything. His 100m time is 4.9 seconds
ha ha hilarious...my dog LOVES to chase anything that moves...he caught a 300 lb buck all by himself while tied outside. any thing from the neighbors cat all the way to bugs lol..
Um yeah, that's why I posted it. You got it. There's NO WAY he can catch it! And SATERN: come on! It's not a pet he's chasing. It's wild rabbit...millions of them around here and not at all cute. Destructive...BUT LISTEN...HE WON'T CATCH IT ANYWAY!!! That's why I posted the video resonse.
My dogs to stupid to catch my rabbits we keep him on the deck and block the stairs so he cant get off and he is to stupid to jump off the deck hahahaha we have like 20 rabbits now
Last night the rabbit ran around the garden circle 5 times in a row and Hershey was right behind him...all 5 times. Was too dark to film but it was hilarious!
LOL! Thanks for the comments. My little doggie can be pretty fast...even though he had an operation to removed the head of his femur! But I would much rather him not catch the rabbit than have to try to take it away from him (see my bad dog videos). I don't know if you could see but there is only one little hole where for the rabbit to leave the fence. The rabbit was trapped until it found the way out.
that rabbit wasnt even trying he was joging grey hounds hav some trouble catching rabbits so i douwt very much that your rottwieler wud hav caught it or your lab cuz tbf the can turn asfast as they can run
The rabbits probably are the reason why your lawn is so green.
