thanks much. The drums are written out beat by beat in a sequencer using live drum sounds. I do play drums, however, I do not have the equipment to record them properly...so I resort to doing it like so.

Do you play the drums as well or did someone else record these?

yes yes, it took basically the whole dang weekend to build the song and the vids. The vids were the easy part though.

Although I am a drummer (my main instrument of choice) these drums are built in a program off of actual drum recordings. I then 'by hand' build the drum track from start to finish and run it as a sort of sequence. inside Pro Tools each track is separate though so I have full control still. It's a pain but cheaper than renting a studio.
