  • Love this! Good Job

  • I can never ever color that good

  • This was so well done. I got tired of trying to color the skin and the result was looking like mud. I will have to try that technique though I use the prismacolor markers and I have the color blender as well.

  • this is very helpful for me as I'm trying to make a list of skin colors for different races. thank you!

  • I am VERY new to Copics (so new that I dont have any yet). I've been watching videos and doing my "research" before I make my purchase. I think I'm ready now:). I see Copic Caio Markers and Copic Sketch Markers. Which are you using and why?

  • @TheKraftyKell I use the Sketch markers but both the sketch & ciao's do the same thing, they have the same nibs and hold the same ink. Sketch have the names/numbers on the endcaps the ciao's do not--sketch marker also hold more ink but they are both refillable so that's not a huge deal.

  • Can I ask where did you get this stamp from I need a couple of the African American girls and boys stamp? I looked in the website and I couldn't find it. thanks

  • @TigglesLuvsNomNoms This was very helpful!! instead of trying to offend someone, learn how to spell!!!!!!! Thank you Suzanne for the tutorial!!

  • @ScrapElegance thank you--it takes all kinds I guess LOL! I'm not offended, I treat that as spam

  • loved this

  • @TigglesLuvsNomNoms She's not being racist. She's just showing how to do it. You can't automatically assume that everything that involves African Americans is racist. I am, and this is not racist at all. this is helpful. Lay off the stereotypes and learn something. If you /are/ African America too, you're not making us look any better. :I

  • She is TOO CUTE!!! Thanks for this video!

  • this was....different. this would be the first vid i saw up here about coloring a black person with copic. not that its bad but it makes it look like drawing black ppl is difficult. (not so much for me since.....im black)

  • I love using the paint brush part ^__^

  • Thanks so much for this video. I have beautiful bi-racial twin granddaughters, and this will be very helpful!

  • Thank you for sharing your techniques. Just lovely.

  • Thank you kindly for posting this, i was looking all over for darker skin toned tutorials. Happy Holidays!

  • You have NO IDEA how ENCOURAGED and HAPPY I am to see that you made a video showing folks how to create this skin tone. You do not see alot of stamped images where the girl/boy has a darker skin tone. Let me be firts to say that I showed this to my daughter and she was OVERJOYED to see how you colored the little girl. She asked me to use an image similiar to yours and make her birthday invitations so that the little girl looks like her!BRAVO!! Now, all I need is to purchased some Copics! LOL

  • Thank you so much; I've been looking for something like this all day. I was getting a little worried that I wouldn't find anything to help me. But it did, and your stamps were so cute in the end.

  • Wow, this is just what I needed to see. most of my characters have dark skin and I have a bad habit of making them a little too dark. Looks like I need more colors to boot.

  • Just came across your video and digital stamps. Youmake it look so easy. Thanks for sharing because.

  • where did you get the aa magnolia stamp

  • does it matter what kind of paper you use?

  • when using copics you want a really smooth surface & tight/strong weight of paper. I use Gina K's Luxury cs in 120 lb weight but the Neenah Crest supersmooth is good too!

  • Thank You.
