The workers request a vote when they the workers CHOOSE to organize, not when the company chooses. The "declined int rest" is just a no thank you we are not voting because we choose not too.yes the union visits homes, blue diamond forces workers to sit in brain washing meetings so they can KNOW HOW TO VOTE. Am I understanding you correctly?You DO work at BD and you DO want to vote for a union,or you do NOT believe a union is going to make it better for you? I really do not want to misunderstand anyone's opinion.I respect whatever you may think,and like to hear both sides to any issue.

What an un-informed gang of goofs.
Blue Diamond has requested a sanctioned, secret ballot Union election overseen by the National Labor Board and this Longshoreman's Union declined any interest. They'd prefer an "open to intimidation by Union Thugs" card check process where nothing is secret and workers' homes would be visited by "Union Reps" encouraging them to vote the "right way".
